I didn't realize this until recently, but take Bob Seiger, Michael Jackson, and the rest out of the equation, Sir Elton John wrote the songs the "back story" of my Generation.

And from what I've seen and heard, there's not an artist of the 70's/80's that would argue with that. :)

I challenge anyone to identify an artist since that we might be able to say that about 20/30 years from how.
