After listening to Shortbus OST, I have to include this into my Top 10 fav soundtrack albums.

1. Shortbus
2. Brokeback Mountain
3. Pocahontas
4. 10 20 30
5. Flashdance
6. Footloose
7. The Lion King
8. Beautiful Thing
9. Get Real
10. The Sound of Music

What's yours?

The fountain
the fifth element
alegria (from a cirque du soliel movie, so it is a sountrack)
fantasia
kill bill 1&2
xanadu, cant stop the music, and the apple (for the camp factor)
shrek2

wouldn't be a complete list without including:
West Side Story and
Funny Girl

as long as those are the film versions they are soundtracks

if they are the stage versions then they are cast recordings....

My faves are:

The Sound of Music
The Wiz
Grease
Saturday Night Fever
Xanadu
A Star Is Born
Annie - The Movie
Girls Just Want to Have Fun- Totally cheesey and 80's but I love it!
Valley Girl
Purple Rain
Dirty Dancing
The Bodyguard
Titanic
O Brother Where Art Thou
Buffy The Vampire Slayer The Musical
Moulin Rouge
Garden State
Brokeback Mountain

New to the list is Dreamgirls!

I could go on but, I'll spare everyone the eyestrain from reading that long post.:=D:

I know that a soundtrack is good when I love every single song on the album...

So...

1) Wonder Boys
2) Brokeback Mountain
3) Jawbreaker

and how could I forget:

Last Tango In Paris - Gato Barbieri

The Moderns
The Mission
Jekyll and Hyde
The Scarlet Pimpernel
Out of Africa

In no particulare order...
Chicago
Evita
Grease
High School Musical
Mary Poppins
Phantom of the Opera
The Producers
Rent
The Sound of Music
Oklahoma

I know this is cheating, but I just realize a few more OST that I really favor more -

Sister Act
My Best Friend's Wedding
Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs

William Shakespears Romeo and Juliet (Baz Lurman)
Brokeback Mountain
Scream
All the Buffy The Vampire Slayer Albums
Camp
White Christmas

The movie had a really good score. But I think it was a mistake to use the same score for "Halloween H20" to which it didn't fit in any way.

Mine are:
- Brokeback Mountain
- Halloween 4 + 5 + 8
- Nightmare on Elm Street 4
- Natural Born Killers
- True Romance

Nip/Tuck
Garden State
The Lion King

Can't think of anything else.
