Superman is my favorite hero. Growing up, I admired his unquestionable sense of justice and the love he has for those in his life. When I hit my teens I felt alienated and alone like Superman... I just love the guy. I came out to my sister not long after Clark came out to Chloe on Smallville. haha. True story.

And what's not to love about his powers? Strong, fast, invulnerable, x ray vision.... Awesome.

I believe it's also been stated (in the books) that while Storm has a darker complexion, her facial features are not identifiably black... They're sort of race-less.

I read a scan of that panel on another forum a few months back. Not sure how to go about finding it, though.

I never knew that. I always just assumed they all had races. I guess their race would just be the human/mutant race?

Yea, Superman is one of my all time favorites too! He is pretty much indestructible, except for Krytonite.

Captain Planet - he is very honorable and has the perfect make-up: earth, fire, wind, water, heart...which means he can travel anywhere and his emotions are in tune with the world's emotions.

Wonder Woman - just because I think she is a hottie and sexy as hell----hahahaha. True fact: Linda Carter/Wonder Woman was my fisrt female love/crush as a child

Lion-O - he is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE...my favorite animal is a lion anyway, plus he has the Sword of Omens...plus he is very attractive and daring and heroic (sort of reminds me of myself)
