Okay, I know there are just as many fans of this genre as there are who hates it. If you're the former, which of the following was your fave of 2006?

That was tough between The Lakehouse and The Devil Wears Prada but after much consideration I voted for The Lakehouse once you buy into the concept you're a goner.

I only saw The Devil Wears Prada from that list and it was nothing special so I can't vote.

Without a doubt, "The Devil Wears Prada"!! Stanley Tucci steals the show, and Meryl Streep is just fantastic, as usual!!!

I really loved Just my luck , that was hilarious , and chris pine just made it better lol

I'm obsessed with Devil Wears Prada! I saw it three times this summer and I bought the DVD which I watch all the time! *******xyboyms is a weirdo****** LOL!

Not heard of any of those films!
Not surprising really, as Chick-flicks, certainly are not my thing!!

I saw 4 of these movies last year.

My friend made me watch Just My Luck with her on DVD, and it was probably the worst movie I saw from 2006. 2 strikes against it -- it was unoriginal, and it starred Lindsay Lohan.

I saw the Break-Up in the theater expecting something funny, but it turned out to be more of a relationship drama than anything else. I think I laughed out loud once. It was mediocre, but I might have liked it more if the marketing wasn't so misleading.

I really loved The Devil Wears Prada and My Super Ex-Girlfriend, but I would have to give the edge to DWP.

I have only seen 3 on the list (super x girlfriend, just my luck & failure to launch).... I liked Just My Luck the best.... but I doubt that would be the best one of the year.

For me it was between Failure to Launch and TDWP. I love the Emily character so I voted for TDWP.

Emily: That's not fair! I mean you eat carbs, for Christ's sake!

I liked Something New a lot. I am a big Sanaa Lathan fan. And I thought the movie was very tender dealing with a sensitive controversial issue.

I thought it was pretty good too.

I wouldnt consider the devil wears prada as a romantic comedy though.

TDWP was the 2nd best movie of 2006 (behind Little Miss Sunshine) so of course I voted for that one. But the Lake House was good aswell, and i really liked the Break Up..

Yeah Devil Wears Prada was funny, but completely different from the book (::but Phloid, all book to movie transfers lose something:: I know, shut up) Plus I'm a sucker for Sandra, hence my vote for Lake House. My fav from last year was Must Love Dogs. Another great (also starring Diane Lane) is Under the Tuscan Sun.

I actually wanted to see the Lakehouse but never did. But I did see Failure To Launch, Last Holiday, The Break up, and Devil Wears Prada. I thought the break up was funny, the ending was so different that what you'd expect, but I think I'm gonna go w/ Devil, b/c Meryl Streep was just too Diva in that movie I loved it.

With others in the list, I am not surprised that Friends with Money is getting no vote at all. But is there anyone else here who has watched this film? I did like it. : ) Anyway, it's Jennifer Aniston. And good story line.
