Feeling Dark & Twisty

So even though I am the eternal optimist. Sudden realization today.

I have absolutely nobody in this entire world who shares my interest and enjoys spending time with me and sharing them and being in my company.

Sure family "loves" me. But I have little in common with them. Just sad I guess, I'll feel better soon just wanted to vent. In fact this is the watered down version of what I originally planned since I took all day to post it and am not quite in the same dark & twisty place.

Surely there must be somebody in the world...

Humans are just victims of the eternal fluctuations of emotions. If it helps you at all, I sympathize with you. I usually just mentally occupy myself so that I can't experience this "empty retrospective" feeling anymore. Hm.

No one who shares ALL your interests? Or no one who shares ANY of your interests?

The latter is easy. You have a computer with an Internet connection. If you like folk rock or mountain climbing or ONLY the second season of Party of Five, there IS a group out there that feels precisely the same way.

The former? Best of luck. I've never found anyone else who shares a passion for indoor lacrosse, the Art of Noise AND Gargoyles. (No, not even Pubert.) But so what? That's just another thing that makes me unique.

Well thanks everyone.. my thinking is more like firepants said

"surely there must be somebody" -- yeah thats my thinking so i'm not saying that there will never be anyone.. just in my life right now.. there isn't.

And Lex.. as wonderful as it would be to find someone who shared EVERY one of my interest... wait... that would be creepy.. I guess I just want someone who could appreciate my interest even if they don't share them... you know?

Ehh whatever.. like I said.. I'm a cheery person. Just had to get rid of the icky black stuff in my belly with this one.

Pfffft, of course you do. you just haven't spent real time with them yet.

There are many of us here at JUB who share at least some of your interests and I'll guess would enjoy spending time with you and being in your company, based on the information at hand.

There will be a lot of guys out there who will enjoy you and you them on many different levels, from pure friendship to unadulterated lust. Enjoy each and every one of them. Along the way, I'll just bet you're destined to meet at least one or two great loves in your life.

Try to connect more with others and make it clear you would enjoy spending time with them and being in their company. You'll be surprised at how popular you become.
