I first heard this song several years ago. "Words", by Doves. It's kinda an anthem of mine ... a tool I use whenever I get down about the kind of stuff that gets posted on gay-bashing Websites.

Those people who post such stuff don't know you. They don't know what a beautiful person you are. Whatever problem they have that leads them to post angry, fearful, vicious stuff on a Website is their problem. They alone own that problem, not you.

I know how you feel. I'm down too. I don't need anyone to hate on me, I already hate myself.

Dont hate yourself! Self loathing will get you nowhere believe me I would know.

Having learned that some other men are both loving and lovable (even sexully lovable) puts you ahead of a a great many other men.,

My feeling is not against the loving; I just wish that somehow more of us would take the time to emphasize that loving others is that which makes us truly human.

All loving does not become sexual lovling, but all loving is to be honored and regardless of our sexual orientation we should never put down the love others show in ways different from our own.
