Females on JUB???

I'm a woman, I'm pretty new here, and I feel welcome. I just find it really interesting to be in a place that's almost entirely male, to see how you guys think about things. And I've never made any silly comments about gay sex. Hope I never do - I love gay sex!!! Otherwise I wouldn't be here.

I don't want to give you a 'tongue lashing', Devino. You're entitled to your opinion and as far as I'm concerned, you expressed it very fairly. (Although posting a link to ONE silly thread seems a bit, well, silly....)

Sorry you've had bad experiences with women, but I'm willing to bet I've had far worse experiences with men. A lot of women may be bitches, but they don't use and abuse men nearly as much as men hurt and abuse women. Being bitter at half the world is just pointless. I used to be incredibly angry at 'men' in general, till I realised that it was getting me nowhere.

Women want to be treated as more 'special' than men? Men - straight men anyway - still earn far more than women and hold most of the positions of power. Sorry about your best friend, but in the UK where I live, 1000s of women get fired every year because they're pregnant - just as one example of how women are still discriminated against, in a western country, in the 21st century. I doubt that makes them feel very 'special'. And all the thousands of women who are beaten, raped and murdered by men? 2 women every week are murdered by their partners in the UK, on average. Special??
 
dont really find it weird, just like some straight men enjoy girl on girl, who's to say straight women dont enjoy men on men, i think maybe ur just being a bit of a sexist, does the word double standard mean anythig to you. a girl into something sexual? wierd? we are homosapiens in the 21st century, get over it. i actually have fewer guy friends than girl friends and i respect them and listen to thm because they always have something supportive to say. and sorry about ur bad experiences, but there is more in the world than just ur work environment, get out there and meet real people. so in short not weird at all

Previously to the site being Just Us Boys it was called 'Link Me All Over'. Personally, I preferred that name but the resultant name change sort of brought everyone back home so to speak rather than venturing off into other sites. Some of the females were around during this time, so would you have excluded them because of the name change. Somehow I don't think so. Sometimes the females bring a different perspective. If you dislike them that much, for heavens sake block them. That way you will never see them and as far as you are concerned they don't exist. I respect your right to question the integrity of the site name but personally from your postings I think it is more a question of emotional maturity.

There are just a few girls here. Some of us like gay porn, some like the conversation, and who knows why some of us are here?

As someone pointed out, this site used to be called lmao.ca (link me all over) and the name change wasn't intended to exclude anyone. I wanted it badly to be called Just Us Men!! ;) My Eduardo (see avatar and green link in siggy) is not a boy!!

Another female on the site. Thanks, to the men who don't mind sharing this community with us. I respect the fact that some men prefer females were not on the site. As such I personally do not post with those men. There have been enough threads about women and Jub that it is pretty clear which men are “annoyed” by women being here. Most of the women, those that I know are women, here do not post or make silly comments in threads about gay sex. I enjoy reading the threads and will continue to do so. Personally I only respond to threads that I feel are appropriate for anyone to respond to.
 
I thought it was kinda weird, but it doesn't bother me that there are girls on this site. I also don't think DevinO should be ostracized for stating his opinion. As a "minority" we should all learn to be tolerant of each other, whether we have the same parts or not, whether we are comfortable or uncomfortable with the opposite sex, or if we share the same opinions or not. Can't we all just get along?
 
Ummmm... a site that's probably 95% male? Yeah, it's gonna attract women, lol. I'm sure there are most likely LOTS of women who visit these boards just to view pics and/or conversations that don't actually post.

contrary to the belief of some, I really don't care if there's women here or not.

I DO get bugged when a few women say dumb-ass things.

Case in point (and I'm not going to bother searching for the thread): some chick posted in the bisexual forum "If you're gay you like fucking asses, so why not just fuck a girl's ass?" That was a dumb-ass thing to post, and I told her dumb-ass self that.

Once, someone posted a thread called "For gay men.. do you...." and then asked some question. Three girls posted answers to the thread. They're neither gay or men.. and nobody asked them.

(Before anyone gets on me, there was once a thread titled "for bi men...." and I did NOT post an answer because I wasn't asked a question).

That being said.. it really doesn't matter. If someone really annoys you, you can justs put them on ignore and have done with it.

Doesn't mean I want to exclude them; just thought it was strange. I ended up PMing a woman on a fairly regular basis (she is not a Mod, by the way). We talk about interesting things. No biggie.

The only thing I dislike is when people get on guys' cases for saying things that are "mean" to women, like using pussy or cunt. In that case, I say this is a guys' site and women can't really complain about being dissed. (I don't diss women, but I think gays should be able to freely express themselves here.)

So as long as the women don't interfere with the atmosphere of (gay) guys being guys, I'm OK with it.

Sure, you asked a question, but you made a few heterophobic remarks as well.

It's my guess that, if the ladies here (and I use the term 'ladies' with deepest respect, because they have never given me cause to think of them otherwise) never annouced to your that they were, indeed, female, you'd probably never know.

Many straight men watch lesbian porn because the idea intrigues them. Many often fantasize about it, I'm sure. It isn't a stretch to imagine straight females who enjoy gay porn. Heck, if they like men, why shouldn't they like two men getting it on twice as much?

If you come to a site that pretty much spells out "No girls" in the title and then get your panties in a bunch when guys start to say the things guys say when they're alone...

One of the things that makes JUB the Great Place that it is ... "We" are a WORLD WIDE Site! ..| That means "We" are ALL Nationalities, Ages, Heights, Weights, Colors, Shapes and Sizes!! (group)

Granted, the main focus is Gay Guys, but "We" are an entire World of People!! Maybe the name should be changed to JUP (JustUsPeeps), or JUF (JustUsFolks), or JUQ (JustUsQueers). Or ... a favorite suggestion from an old thread ... JUGs (JustUs"Girls")! :D

Nearly 99% of my friends are girls. They're wonderful. Its normal to have women involved in a gay place. It just comes with the territory, and I think thats a wonderful thing.
