Reading at TV Tropes, I learned of a late King of Queens episode, The Mild Bunch, which has Patton Oswalt's character and his friend going to their high school reunion. While there they meet a gay guy who was a cheerleader, and a lipstick lesbian. She assumes Patton is a lesbian and he doesn't want to tell her otherwise in case they still have sex (yes this is the plot...). At the end of the episode, she and the gay man recognize each other from an Outfest, and to the bewilderment of Oswalt and his friend, they begin making out.

Maybe just a dry spell? There's probably always new content being made out there, but sometimes only a few of us looking.

There is likely a great deal of material in various countries we won't know about or rarely know about, as most of what we see or hear about is the UK, US, and then sometimes France, Germany, Spain, etc.
