I killed about 4 or 5 marks with Just Vaan.

I think I rule at Mark Hunting.

I still can't beat that frakin "Ring Wyrm".

Oh and Penelo seems to have the most MP, after filling the liscense board....I've learned that Hunting is good especially with the gold ammulet!

RE: Screwnutty, OHNOES LARPers!!!!

So eventually that cunt joins permanently?? Urgh. I'm sorry, but no. I'm not even going to bother with her. Having to deal with Fran is bad enough.

I've been in the same place for about a week now! I haven't played at all, which pisses me off. As soon as I make some time, something comes up.

Have you filled out the license board for everyone? Isn't it fun filling it out? I love seeing the little squares light up.

I do quite enjoy the liscense board.

Yes I've filled it out for everyone, once I got the gold amulet I was pretty much set. I'll be at level 40 soon too, which is an added bonus.

I'm going to be all powerful when I fight through the actual story.

Yes unfortunately Penelo is Permanent. She also has some pretty strong Mist Abilities. However I favor Balthier's final Mist ability.

And Fran kicks ass if you as me. I wish there were more Humanoid types of party members, like a Bangaa, a Moogle and a Nu-Mou, and soem Garif's.

I really do enjoy the world of Ivalice. Cept for Penelo and Larsa those precotious snoody little cunts.

I'm buying FFIII tomorrow. I don't undertsand why things get delayed by a day here, pisses me off releases liek that should be simultaneous.

Alright. You're at level forty. Where exactly are you in the game? I'll set that as my deadline.

I haven't gotten to Mist Abilities yet. Not sure what they are. It has something to do with summons, right? Oh, have you summoned anything yet? How is it like? I heard you can only equip one person with the summon, and it's permanent. Is that true? Fuck, I hope not. I've very particular about who gets which summon. Their personalities have to match. Get what I'm sayin'?

I do like Fran, don't get me wrong. She's just my fourth favorite. I can't do much about that. I'll try to use her for a bit, you see, but then I'll get irritated if I don't see Basch, or Vaan (I never switch out Balthier).

I'm getting Final Fantasy III as soon as I finish FFXII and Bully. Let us know how it is though.

Penelo needs to die. She needs to just disappear. Everyone will forget she ever existed, and will live happy successful lives. It hurts me to even look at her. Urgh!

There's only one gate leading to Garamsythe now, the one where you first killed the rats at the beginning of the game. There should be a huge door to the East when you come in, jsut go through, then stick to the sides so you can reach the very bottom. I have to warn you though, the fiends there are a little on the difficult side if you just got the hunt.

Thanks Marvel. Didn't realize the water on the rightside were down on the waterway. Salamat again! ;)

I played through the preview they had with Dragon Quest and it seems like you can summon and it appears and fights on its own (you disappear and control it) sort of like in X.

The one problem I have with FF games for a while is that they don't have enough interesting non-human party members in the games that have more than 4 characters. Having Cait Sith and RedXIII was awesome in VII and to a lesser extent, Umaro and Mog.

IX had Quina but that doesn't really count and X only had Kimhari.

With the setting in Ivalice, I really hoped that you'd get some Bangaa, Mogs, Viera, and Seeq like in Tactics Advanced. But all you get is Fran. Getting a Bangaa would be fucking amazing.

I really don't like any of the other creature things in Ivalice, besides Fran's people...and the moogles. Seriously. Aren't the moogles the cutest they've ever been in FF12?

Do the Summons do like special uber cool moves? You know, like in Final Fantasy 8, you summon, lets say Shiva, and she does the Diamond Dust move. You get to see the cool little mini-movie. Or do they just come out and attack like a regular guest character would? That'd be such a turn off.

Bangaa's are overrated. Seriously. What do you guys see in them? They're almost as ugly as Penelo.

Oops, sorry, when I said Seeq, I meant No-Mou.
I just want to lobby for FF party diversity.

hey guys- any tips for making lots of gil? I keep going low on gil, with having to buy both spells & weapons in this game...they're also not inexpensive either

Getting gil is very hard... You must fight monster and get loot from them so you can sell them... ITs the best way... Do lots of fighting.

What I want to know is why this game is getting so freaking hard... I'm almost afraid to fight most of hte enemies.

I'm level 33, 29, 29, 28, 28, 28, and I'm on my way to Archades...

i'm in the Tchita Uplands right now.

I passed the part where I have to go to get the Zodiac Spear, but I have to fight a optional boss (if I want it as soon as posible) to get past the area and hes really freaking hard. Its the Bomb King and every time I get him half way dead, he just complete heals... Its unfair, so I wil get the spear later.

That was an unecessarily bitchy comment. ;)

I've pegged Fran's sexy-ass accent down to being Icelandic. It sounds just a bit better than Bjork's. Totally sexy. I just got her and Balthiar in my party. I swear, the two of them make me want to become bisexual.

Are assigned Quickenings permanent?

I've filled the liscense board for everyone and I'm just below Level 40 for everyone.

I've played Just over 30 hours, my aim isn't to be far in the story just yet. I'm leveling up and taking out marks. I've taken out about 11 Marks, I'm on my 12th and 13th. The Ring Wyrm and White Mousse.

I think I've stated that I'm not diving into the story just yet.

Mark's are my bitch right now. As they should be.

:-({|= It's too bad you're afraid of monsters.

Well. If you are before where I am in the story, then let me tell you you're not going to feel much different than I do right now.

As the story goes on, the monster become much more harder to fight. Sooner or later its going to hit you.

I'm not doing the hunts right now because they bore me, take too long to get over with, and don't give me prizes that I want. In other words, they waist my time

Really? They do help in the long run, much more than you think?
I know where the Monsters get stronger and I'm taking them out rather thoroughly. I mean come on, go and try and take out the Earth Wyrm I dare yah!

I'm not too far from where you are, but I plan to level up even more. You see I've noticed that there is a jump and it's gotten rather unbalanced as you progress. The hunts are hardly a "waist"[sp] of your time, especially considering they give you some very nice items to fight the beasties with.

I'm here to tell yah the Goldem Amulet is your friend, it doubles your Liscense Point earned....

p.s. it's "Waste."

I'm not finding this game hard per se. I'm leisurely making my way through it and when I come to somethign strong I level, then I rape it and make it my bitch. Get Gil nice items and continue on with the story. It's pretty simple.

Throw away that guide then :D

Theyoungman: When the Bomb King has about 60% of his life left, hit the bastard with your strongest Quickenings. If he's still alive, call out your reserves as fast as humanly possible, and let them finish him off with their own set of Quickenings.

I actually haven't used my guide. I've peaked at it.

I bought it for the Art Book, and the flashy pictures.

I haven't even figured out where the side quest section is or the bestiary, because I don't feel like turning the pages past the parts I've beaten for fear of spoilers!
Peeked, you mean? J/k.

Baltheir is teh sexy.

Again, are Quickenings permanent? I can give Balthier Fires of War, but I'm not sure what it does and I don't want to give it to him if it's better on someone else. Or does it not really matter?

I've been meaning to ask about the Quickenings (Stupid guide has nothing on them). I got Balthier's and Ashe's...I tried them out once, and it said something about R2. I smashed the button down hoping for something to happen and then it said something about "Shuffle". And in the end it didn't work! I've been too scared to try it since then.

I just finished the dawn shard quest (awesome cutscene!), so now I'm trying to catch up on side quests and hunts. Looking at the guide, it look slike I'm missing a few hunts. Do they disappear if you don't do them right away, or do they just appear in a mixed up order? Because I want to get every single one of them so I can get the big prize from the Clan.
