Finally something good to tell you all!!

Hi EVeryone

I am happy to say that on Dec 9th I went with my new boyfriend to a holiday dance and during the evening a coworker was encouraging us to dance with the straight couples and before I could say anything my guy grabbed my hand and took me to the dance floor and we danced to the song At Last by Etta James and it was incredible holding him and dancing close. The others dancers didn't get upset and no one said one word to us - it was an incredible night and I will never forget it.

Later that night - I told my boyfriend that I wanted to have a picture taken of us in our tuxes and so we walked up and the photographer positioned us together and we were about a foot apart from each other and he said well I don't know how close you two want to get and my boyfriend reached around my waist and pulled me close and the photographer went ok and then took the picture. It was another great moment.

My new man really means a great deal to me and I can't wait to see what the future will bring. For those of you still looking just be patient it will happen.

Yes indeed, I wish we all could do things like that without fear. Your story shows that there has been some evolvement. Imagine doing that 30 years ago.

^^I don't think you have to go back 30 years - I think even 5 years ago would have seen a very different reaction to the two boys on the dance floor.
