First semester is two days away from being over. I have two finals on Monday and one on Tuesday. Monday morning at 8am is Written Music Theory. I'm kind of worried about this final, because I really need to do well on it to pass the class. I have a 73% in the class, and a 69% is passing, so if I bomb, I'll fail. Monday night is my Tap final. I haven't been to a few of the classes because I was too lazy (its at 7pm--so you can imagine not wanting to go sometimes) and we reviewed the choreography on Wednesday for the final on Monday. Boy was I lost! We have the Shim Sham Shimmy, which isn't as easy as I originally thought, but I think I'll be fine. We also have the walk around, which I learned the first four sequences, I didn't learn the fifth. But my teacher was like "move your feet, and you'll pass." So that won't be so bad. Tuesday afternoon I have Aural music theory. I think I failed my sight-singing jury for that class (its a two part final.) The written portion of the final, I think will be ok. I just need to review harmonies of a few melodies, and work on error detection.
So after Tuesday, my finals will be over, and I'll be able to go home and relax and forget about all the drama that goes on in my dorm. That's another story, that would take too long. Ok...so that's about it. I'll keep you updated about my finals and grades as soon as I know the results.
