FIND THE MAN IN THE COFFEE BEANS:This is bizarre -- after you find the guy -- it's so obvious. Once you find him -- it's embarrassing, and you think, Why didn't I see him immediately?

Doctors have concluded that if you find the man in the coffee beans in 3 seconds, the right half of your brain is better developed than most people.

If you find the man between 3 seconds and 1 minute, the right half of the brain is developed normally.

If you find the man between 1 minute and 3 minutes, then the right half of your brain is functioning slowly and you need to eat more protein.

If you have not found the man after 3 minutes, the advice is to look for more of this type of exercise to make that part of the brain stronger!!!

Oh, yeah, the man is really there!!!

hm.

All I can see is a question mark.

Does that mean I need more protein or more sleep?

The photo didn't come through...
But I've seen the puzzle before and I knew exactly what you were referring to...

I'll have to admit, I couldn't find the man the first time I saw the puzzle... The only way I could find him was to blow the photo up to twice its original size... Then I spotted him immediately.

When I looked back at the original photo, it was like you said: I wondered why I couldn't see him before...

Uh oh. I saw him almost immediately.

And that scares me.

I'm still looking for Waldo!

Hm. I'm not really sure, I didn't time myself. However, it was only a few seconds, I know that. Probably 3 or 4.

Took me a while, about 3 minutes or so, but then I was distracted by the picture: my immediate thought was "something's wrong with that picture", and indeed it's a collage of the same coffee-beans over and over again.

I'm weird, I know. Don't need coffee-beans to tell me thát! ;)

It took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about.

I kept looking for the shape of a stick-figure man in the beans, and then I was looking for one of those stereograms that you have to blur your eyes for. I was thinking that it was like an ink-blot and I kept staring at the thing looking for a body-like shape until I thought that maybe they'd just hidden a face in the coffee beans.

Then I found it.

creepy.

Found it pretty much right away. That one oddly dark bean really bothers me though. Just thought I'd share that.

Couple seconds for me too...Yay, go right side of brain!

Does this mean I have the potential for telekinesis or mind reading? That'd be cool...

Ditto - creepy. I wasn't looking for someones bloody head I was looking for a body. I hate these things.

ok that was confusing .. i was looking for a MAN .. like with legs and head and chest and arms and all. once i stopped scanning for that pattern i immediately saw the HEAD.

^ me too. First I was looking at the brown, then I thought the yellow cracks could be arms and legs, then I saw the head... 35 seconds due to that.

Edit: Go away DANNO, this is a reply to Corny :P

Well - judging by the responses above, I guess I did find it after all.

I am normally hopeless at any of these "depth type" puzzles (because of some odd eyesight issues), so thought that's what it probably was.

I saw the head in the lower part of the pic almost immediately - but from the original post I also thought I should be looking for a "full body" as well...
