ok fellas i am lookin for what most of you think about finding love on the internet. i believe it is possible tell me what you think :D

Excellent question!
I don't go out to the club here and I have a limited number of gay friends now, most have passed away over the years, so the internet gives me an opportunity to "keep in touch" with a gay community. Now granted, I have never met anyone in person from the internet but I have had e-mail pals that I have kept in contact with some for years. JUB provides me with one way to feel that I belong to a community.
It would be nice, no great, to meet someone again and fall in love, whether the first contact is on the internet or somewhere else is, I think, all a matter of chance but who knows, it may happen.
I feel the internet is a double edged sword. It opens up a whole universe to us all and gives the ability to work, educate ourselves, visit distant lands and entertain ourselves all from the comfort of our own homes but the flip side of that is if someone gets too immersed with the internet they may start to lose their ability to socialize one on one in the "real" world and if that happens an opportunity may be stareing them in the face but they might be too blinded by the light of their monitor to see him.

I met my second bf on match.com. I was working one night in my home office with the TV on watching the 11 PM news. They did a story on match.com and how it was free during a specific promotion. I quickly clicked to the site, typed in my zip code, and added the word "golf" to my search. The very first personal match that came up and I read, turned out to be my partner for the next three years. It can happen.

I've been single for 5 years now and just starting to put myself out there again. I'm on a couple of dating sites but have only been hit on by guys looking for hook-ups. That's not what I'm looking for.

If your curious about internet dating, you may want to try plentyoffish.com. It's a big site and absolutely free.

I found my partner on the internet. I guess I should say he found me through a personal ad I posted. I lived in a rural area so gay bars were out of the question for me. We have been together for almost ten years now and have been happily living together for nine years.

We help a straight female friend of ours post a personal ad and she found her husband through the ad. She has now been married to him for three years.

It is defiantly possible to find love on the internet.

I did and he uprooted his life from 3 hours north to move in. We'll be celebrating our second Christmas living together this year.
