Exactly. Which is why I have decided to not watch this story anymore until the writers and cbs get real. I haven't seen it in a few weeks ever since Noah and Ameera got married. But I know I haven't missed anything that treats me as a viewer with a brain.
 
I know "Bradie" have been forming under the radar, but engaged? Really? They haven't even had a proper date, where it was the two dating each other because both parties want to be together, and not just there to make someone jealous, or get a person of their mind. I'm not really digging it, but I suppose anything other than what we saw today would not be in true "Bradie" fashion.

Looking forward to seeing Katie's reaction to the return of Mike.

I was rooting for a "Chrophie" and "Cally" pairings, but looks like neither will really come to be. As a matter of fact, what did happed with Chris and Sophie. One second the writers had the two close, then Chris has wrote off Sophie as someone that isn't worth his time. I also don't want Allison back with Chris, but with Casey. Can't always get what we want though. On the brightside, Casey can distract Ameera from her territorial feelings toward Noah.
 
i stand corrected. the new Mike is hot as fuck!!! different kinda hot than the previous guys, but he's a hot one for sure. hope they don't pair him with Katie's silly ass. also that he's had a personality change and is not such a "nice guy" anymore.
 
I love As The World Turns, However CBS has totally blew it when they had release Martha Byrne from her contract as Lilly. They have already recast the role. Just makes me want to hurl. I hope she gets another soap soon

I think Passions got away with it because nobody was watching anyway. Remember they've just been cancelled for good this time apparently.
 
Just remember it is a soap. Actors and actresses come and go and come again. Cady McLain returns to All My Children for the umpteenth time in a couple of weeks. So for now Martha is gone but..

That is true. I believe it got the lowest ratings due to it not being a cookie-cut soap, but rather a very tongue-in-cheek original. Ultimately, their originality (combined with the extremely slow-paced stories) ended in the show being so low it would have to be cancelled. The fans, including I, went year to year wondering if it will be picked up again, just because they refused to find a writer that would make it what we remembered it was. That's why I liked Passions. It wasn't so "soapy," Unfortunately, James E. Reilly (aka JERk) brought on the downfall with his writing.

Anyways, it could afford to delve into such unorthodox storylines, because what small amount of viewers it had would stand loyal regardless.

i know the show never had alot of viewers, but it still surprises me that there were never more people speaking out against stuff they were showing. actually i'm still surprised the show lasted as long as it did. lol i'd given it a year tops when it 1st came out.

Are you Seriou! Shes comming back to AMC. I never heard bout that. Thats so true how many times now has she come back from the dead. She was so wasted this last time on As The World Turns, they never really gave her a storyline....
 
I liked Rosanna's last return, she was such a badass villain. haha, when she was trying to kidnap Paul on that jet, that was some fucked up sheeeeit, so fun to watch.

That shit was ridiculous. The must have been jumpin on the bed for an hour. Who does that? Ameera and that straight guy went all the way to the cafe and back and Luke and Noah just finish jumping on the bed then?

I think they are using fans' anger of them not kissing against them to get more ratings and publicity. It's gotten beyond ridiculous how they are interrupted every time they almost kiss. What kind of immigration agent trolls around banging on people's doors at night as soon as someone moves?

I think that Luke should think about breaking it off with Noah, All I see is heartbreak for him ahead. Maybe he could turn Caseys head in his direction!!!!!

I did some thinking. Minus the affection letdown, the couple has been treated fairly. Without Ameera's growing feelings for Noah, the couple wouldn't have much of a storyline/point. There needs to be some trials and tribulations in their relationship, especially if they're to be considered a true supercouple. Yes, Luke will probably walk in on Noah questioning his love for Luke and feelings for Ameera. I'll hate it, but I'll love to hate it. It's what a soap opera is about. Drama, primarily due to one part of a couple cheating on the other. So I say bring it on, as long as the ultimate end is Luke and Noah are each others soul mates.

I agree that there needs to be tons of dramatic and ridiculous obstacles. But the couple is NOT treated fairly because they have no physical relationship at all. They have never had sex and they haven't kissed since the time the father saw ages ago. Despite the roller coaster of crap soap couples always have a lot of sex.

I would take all this Ameera crap if they kissed once in a while or had least have discreet sex. but they don't. If that were the case, I would even like Ameera to stick around and become super evil. But this whole idea of them always being interrupted the moment when they are about to kiss is completely ridiculous.

the thing with Noah and Luke has gone way beyond ridiculous. sometimes it seems like the show is intentionally trying to piss Nuke supporters off with that bullshit--either way it's DEFINATELY insulting. i was probably the last person to jump on the Nuke bandwagon, but damn it's just so FRUSTRATING. i gotta say though Van Hansis(sp) is really starting to grow on me. those puppy-dog eyes, and pouty lips.he's just i dunno... adorable!!!

Do you really think they're trying to piss us off. Of course. A super couple has sex and kiss not necessarily in that order then break up then get back together. In Jack and Carly's case they have sex before getting back together.
