We all get by with a little help from our friends, & I hope to make a few here.

I'm a closeted mature male looking for a few contacts to share their life experiences on what is is to be a gay man. I have dozens of questions & assumptions I'd like to explore with anyone willing to endure my naive perceptions of the gay world.

My goal is to become a healthier, more confident "out" gay man someday soon.

This is my first step in declaring my sexual preference, however small.

first off

secondly i agree with danno, that the first step, just saying "i'm gay" is probably the hardest. telling another person is also very hard. this site is used by many many folks as a support system. that is why i am here. to help and be helped as the opportunity arises. as bashful mentioned, the coming out forum is probably a great place to take your next step. there are some truely amazing people in that forum.

anyway glad you said hi and that you joined us. i think you'll make some great friends.

The response here is more than expected. This is a new day for me, like danno said "...journey...". That's what my gay experience will be . Cant wait to talk with someone about being gay so I can relax & get centered in life.

Ive got literally dozens of Q's regarding man/man sexuality. I'm raging with hormones of lust this am, cant seem to get rid of a constant semi hard erection. So horny, I'm sure it has to do with my disclosure....when I slow down & get my upper head back on I think I'll post a thread to get advice on 10-12 basic questions on what I NEED to know....excuse me...Ive gotta run off to the bathroom.....
