So this Saturday I am bringing a date to a wedding, and my parents and two bros will be there. This is the first time they have been around me while im with another gay guy. They know he will be there and seem cool about it, but im still wicked nervous, hehe. Actually hes staying at my apartment for 5 days haha. and my mom wasnt too impressed with that, but o well its about time I let them know how im living my life :-P

Then go and have fun , mind your P's and Q's. Dont make a big show of your self's, keep it low key. Dont make a scenes. all this can help break more of the ice and allow them to accept him easier. Just be mellow about it, it is just as much for them as it is for you. Respect each others bounderies..

I have to agree with everyone. Be yourself, but keep it low key. Good luck and the nerves will go away.

Agree with everyone previously. Your family seems to be supporting your lifestyle and seem to accept and seem happy about the fact that you're bringing a date to this wedding. The least you can do is to just have fun and be yourself. Don't go "buckwild" while at the wedding and don't "steal the show" as some would say. Just be yourself, it really can't be said enough

Your parents are cool with it? They sound great. Go. Have fun. Don't be hanging all over each other. It's not your day. It's the bride and groom's day. They are in the spotlight. Let them have it. Keep it cool. All will go well.
