I don't know if this works and have no way of testing it.

It apparently fixes that thingie in windoze 'puters that's always screwing up. The registry I think it is.
Anyway it's free.

When someone puts that much energy into designing a website just to give you free software, it's almost always a scam. It's either filled with ads and spyware or you only find out after you install it that you have to spend $39.99 before you can do anything.

To "fix" itunes is extremely easy. Just delete it. There are hundreds of better programs that do the same thing.

I try to help and I just get abuse. Secondmonkey: you have been deleted.

You're not helping anybody. You posted a crappy peice of software that you haven't tried as a fix for a problem most people don't have.

Actually, it looks like you posted a referral link, trying to earn money from the scammers yourself. People like you make me sick, and spam is not allowed here.

if your buying tunes from itunes, no matter of you have a PC or a MAC should work seamlessly. I do not know what your "issues" might be. Maybe deleting and reinstalling would work for you. Do you have the latest upgrade? Or delete your "plist" from itunes if that is on your PC?!?!?

Oh, and as far as I know no other software works with iTunes, unless you are going to peer to peer sites to download tunes illegally!

And sheeps link to this free software takes you to a previous post n Toronto..at least it dod for me.

He doesn't have any issues, he's just posting spam in the hopes of getting paid for it.

There are several other companies who sell legal music downloads. And there are other peices of software that work better with ipods. Making itunes obsolete.

If you don't want the help, don't click the link.
And for the record Sheep can't see if the fix works because he owns a Mac.
If you can figure out a way to test a fix for Windows while running a Mac OS on a Mac, please share.

Sheep isn't spamming, he was trying to help.
People who start spewing shit without knowing what is going on make me sick.
And for the record, at the moment that would be someone like you.

Yes, it is spam. Look at the link. See this part?

?gclid=CPDv9uC_oosCFQF-PgodGTaYkA

That's his referral code. He gets paid when someone clicks on the link and/or downloads it. The software is full of spyware and/or adware in order to generate that revenue.

If he was trying to help, he would have posted that link in response to someone's problem with itunes. The fact is, nobody is having a problem with itunes, so he just started a new post in order to spam.

Posting random peices of software that you haven't tried in response to problems people don't have is NOT helping anyone.

ok that website looks totally NOT trustworthy at all. i have no windoze machine here atm to test it, nor a virus scanner to check the exe file. and the url indeed looks like a referal-url, so yes - i think it is suspicious, too. maybe it is just an aprils day joke - maybe not. better safe than sorry, i'm gonna remove the URL for now.

Go to your local Apple store if you're having trouble with your Ipod or Itunes...
and Secondmonkey, you are absoluely correct.

OK I am really curious now so I d/l the .exe and it is about 1 meg file. The .jpg attached is the information on it.
I only made the posting cos there was a thread awhile ago about windows users having problems with iTunes and this looked like a good fix.

Oh and apologies to second monkey. I didn't delete you. I put you on my ignore list.

nobody is having problems with itunes it just takes 10 times longer to open than ANY other program on my PC

also it doesn't use any of the transition effects used in vista for some reason and is the only program i know of to not

the problems with the program are not windows related but poor programming related issues

out of interest how long does itunes take to start up on a Mac?

5 seconds on a 2002 vintage PPC G4. How long on yours AJ and is it faster or slower with Vista?

first it was 21 sec then down to 16 the second time then but after that vista must have put it in the ram because it now is taking 3-5 sec which is still slower than Media player which was 3 seconds the first time 2 sec the next and now under a second
