Fleetwood Mac

I'm a fan of Fleetwood Mac as well.

Rumours and Tango In The Night are my two favorite studio albums from them.

How did I miss this thread before? Fleetwood Mac is my all-time favorite band, and Stevie is my all-time favorite artist.

I actually have a huge appreciation for every era of the Mac's career, but I'm definitely a bigger fan of the Nicks Years.

Meanwhile, I'm surprised no one's posted a video for "Silver Springs" yet, which is - easily - one of the most brilliant pop-rock songs of all time.

I read of some who did not like the use a live marching band on Tusk
I thought the idea was brilliant.

Re: Wrongs & Woes

Okay, thanks for that bouying sentiment!;) So you don't think the Stevie years have contributed meaningfully to music - music does after all serve to help us to reach into our lives and offer something up to connect with our world and the others in it. Wouldn't you say Fleetwood Mac does this, even in the more recent years, which have been the last forty years by your count?!

omg - so much blasphemy in this thread - we will never forget Greene - but the person who put Fleetwood Mac on the map was no other than BOB WELCH - a musical genius who carried that band on his back for 5 albums

a lot of smack talk about Buckingham as well wtf? - Lindsey IS the reason that Rumours became what it is - Nicks and C. McVie and Buckingham wrote 4 songs each on Rumours - The Chain was a collaboration that is credited to all of them - but Buckingham also had lead vocals in SIX of the songs - THE CHAIN is the quintessential Fleetwood Mac song - it tells the whole story behind Rumours - the good - the bad - and the ugly...

and Buckingham commanded that song - he was fucking amazing.... legendary

like the early albums with Peter Green - released between 1967 to
1971. In those days they were one of the leading British Blues Bands.

But, please: don't ask me about all the mainstream rubbish under the
same name in the following years. Their change of style is one of the
greatest tragedies in rock history... .

the song "be with you everywhere" by fleetwood mac always reminded me of the state of delaware :)
and the song "little lies" by fleedwood mac always reminded me of Maryland because it has that northern county vibe to it's background music :)
