California salmonella death was 65-year-old woman
Okay so this lady was killed by the salmonella outbreak that occurred in Cargill Ground Turkey products.
Troubling part is the first reported illness occurred FIVE MONTHS AGO
I personally think this and infrastructure should be where we focus and grow government. This person's family should demand the government be held accountable for the lady's death. It should not be political. It should be a-political if you will. She should hold both sides accountable for not providing for the safety of the American people which is one of the real jobs of our government IMHO.
That was my initial thought. I would make such a freaking ruckus. I would refuse to speak with or on behalf of any party against any other. I would instead hold the civil servants who do not actually serve anyone but themselves accountable.
I think the news outlets would eat it up. I also think that a citizens approach to holding both parties responsible is the only route to successful legislation occurring. otherwise each party is so freaking wrapped up in their theoretical platforms policies that they lose sight of actually doing something.
ARgghhhhh
