Who will you vote for and why?

Ive filled out my ballot, I voted for Obama because there are important decisions to be made that I don't want the GOP making.

Who do you think will win and why?

I think Obama will win, but by how much is the element here.

Oh, look at Ohio. #Oop

Now it's getting sad.

We could of at LEAST given Romney Ohio in the polls. :dead:

Obama will win because he's the only one suited to be president. Conservatives were just expressing their freak outs over the fact that they can't even trust Romney.

Messy

Obama 2012

Nevada will be strongly here for Obama, I'm calling it now. These polls have been neglecting the Latino vote for awhile now. They are coming to slay this election.

voting third party.

100% confident that Obama will win NJ's electoral votes, and 95% confident that he'll win the general election.

should you amend that to "everyone needs to vote... if they're voting for my candidate"? ;)

thanks for all that.

:##:

I heard that both of them are terrified about mentioning ANYTHING to do about guns and the nation's high number of gun deaths.

So I'm not voting again this year. I didn't vote in the last presidential election because I was a Clinton supporter, not an Obama supporter, so I refused to vote. Now again this year I still dislike Obama, and would never vote for Romney, so again I'm refusing to vote. Not gonna waste my time going to vote when neither candidate is anyone I'd ever want as president.

My partner and I voted for Obama by mail a month or so ago we live in London Uk and are dual citizens of U.S. & England. Any gay person that votes for Romney is a fucking idiot. and any one who does not vote at all do not ever let me hear you complain about your country. One major time that no one said anything brought in Hitler.

QFT.

I early-voted Friday, so I'm covered. Now, if "my" Obama wins, I have earned the RIGHT to bitch about him for the next four years. (And I'm sure there'll be some of that!)

Certainly, though, that would mean that the hopes of being able to marry a man someday (and have it recognized by FEDERAL law) would still be preserved. Elect Republicans, and nothing of that sort will ever happen during this century unless you happen to be in a "lucky" state. Certainly nothing federal would ever be allowed, and Republicans would work hard to force a Constitutional "man-and-woman" Amendment for sure.

I feel very possibly this election rivals the fall of the Soviet Union, in global importance. This election may even rival the election of Hitler, if R-R are allowed to win. What designs they have on Americans, and on the planet, scare me...a considerable % of people in their Party are so crazy that, besides probably bombing Iran and Pakistan without hesitation, they would LOVE to get a civil war started in the United States. Martial law could suspend the Constitution. After that, may God help us.

At the very least, they would love to remove ALL regulation on U. S. corporations if they could, and that would certainly cause the entire planet to be fucked over, because "we" have so many multinational corporations which are tantamount to world rulers.

.
because i'm from overseas and a foreigner,
my vote should = 10 votes ...

Madonna commands you all to vote for Obama

Bow down and obey.

Voted early on Friday. Somewhat crowded, took half an hour, but still quicker than doing it on Tuesday. As for who I voted for, as always, it's none of your goddamn business.

voting third party.

Me too. If a third party secures enough votes they receive a big cash bonus for the next election, so I consider my vote an important way for them to build momentum.

If I were in a state where my vote helped determine the election I might have more anxiety about a Romney win. But Oregon's votes don't affect that and, in any case, Obama will secure them.

So I voted for Jill Stein and Cheri Honkala, and what's more, I know one whole other person who did also! I don't agree with many of the Pacific Green Party's positions, but they are probably closest to my politics.

I did in 2000 & 2004, as the Democrat stood little chance of winning in Arkansas where I voted. The two-party system is a true good ole boys' club that is hurting our nation. If we could only remove the electoral college next.

Yep. What scares me the most is that Voting seems to be just a big show for us. The Electoral College votes are the only one's that actually count, and who claims that they are not being "biased"?

We were promised that this system would be abolished after Bush vs. Gore. I said that it won't because Americans have a short memory and will forget about it in a few months.

I was absolutely correct.

I have never been this scared about an election in my life. If Romney wins, God help us all.
Now I don't think that Romney is an evil man, but he has the Koch Brothers and the Mormon Church behind him.

THAT is bad news!

Li'l Bit voted a week ago. North Carolina will likely go to Romney, but Li'l Bit likes to be optimistic. :~)

Pointless poll since it's an American issue. How the heck can someone from Turkey even know what the issues are. They just probably like Obama as a person better or "he's better known" since he's the incumbent.
You left out Malawi...I wanted to see that one...j/k

Pluto vote in ans da sun won

hope planet earth awsum world toops figa their shame of eons

thankyou

I voted third party.

I can't even predict who'll win Florida because it's always soooooo close. Even by yard signs, car stickers, and even the various blue/red choice of food/drinks, it's hard to tell here in the very coveted swing region, which is why the GOP Convention was held here in the 1st place.

As for general election, slight Obama advantage in Electoral College numbers but possible slight disadvantage with popular vote.
