About five hours ago my laptop told me there were important HP updates.

The update process is still running.

I keep laughing every time I see the little window showing the process still in process.

I just thought it amusing that an HP update should take so long on a new computer.

I left it running and headed to bed last night. Now I'm more puzzled than amused -- it's still running.

I had to use Task Manager to actually stop the thing!

I never updated my HP computer, its own software was pointless and never really improved my computer at all. Only time I updated was for my Printer and that's it.

I agree with Andy, just restart.

I restarted. So far, the only thing different is that everything's in black and white.
