I did one of these once before, but rather than take it seriously I jast looked at people suspiciously and said "Why do you want to know?"

At Alpha's suggestion, I'm doing it properly this time.

Fire away.

Yep, for everyone who hates the "Ask Me Anything" threads, you can totally blame me for this one.

On w/ the questions:
What is your favorite color, type of food, restaurant, movie, and television show?

How would you consider your position now in comparison to, say, your position about a year ago?

Lex

I wanna know

Have you ever seen the rain coming down on a sunny day?

From a material standpoint, not much has changed. I'm still being grossly underpaid to do a job that I hate and has no real security, I'm still stuck in the middle of nowhere living with my parents and with no access to transport, and I still suffer from crippling social anxiety and have no real social life away from this PC.

But at least I'm not moaning about it as much, which has got to be an improvement, right?

What do you like about your current job? What do you dislike about it?

I've noticed that you've joined a gym. What is your exercise regime? Is it getting easier?

What are your parents like (if that's not to personal)?

It's boring and dull and I'm still only on temp wages despite having been there for five years and the entire department is under constant threat of being axed anyway (since we're an R&D group on what is really a manufacturing site) and I really don't have a clue what I would do instead.

Like? I dunno.

I'm going three times a week, one of which I spend being shouted at by a hunky ex-marine ..| It's not getting any easier yet, but I've been going less than a month now, so it's not really had a fair chance.

Impossible to hold a conversation with. Although that might be my fault rather than theirs.

Tradition.

I've used Larry as my avatar (and some variation on Winterknight as my username) on every web site I've ever joined since I first got 'net access.

I can't remember why now.

Have you ever tried using any other avatar or username?

Why do you have "pure in heart" as your saying?

Continuing the werewolf motif. From the 1930's horror movie The Wolf Man starring Lon Chaney Jr; the film which actually invented 90% of what people think they know about werewolves.

Even a man who is pure in heart
and says his prayers by night
may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms
and the autumn moon is bright.

Larry in my avatar is an updated version of the title character, from Neil Gaiman's Only the End of the World Again

So you've met up with at least 2 other Jubbers, apparently got on fine, you have been photographed with the A & F guys, gone to Gay venues and yet say you have acute social anxiety.

You have probably done more than me, yet you diagnose yourself with a problem and get down about it while I don't. Why do YOU think this is? Is it possible that your anxiety is irrational and ill founded?

Congrats BTW in trying to do something about it though (*8*)

Sorry to carry on with your avatar, but I am curious...

Do you feel like you can relate to werewolves?
