lol - doesn't the woman get any say in how she's going to be married? 
I mean, I'm sure most women would be over the moon and speechless, but there are some that might be FURIOUS that he would presume to make her marriage day a tacky public spectacle in front of millions, without consulting her.
I can only assume that the guy knew her personality well and knew that she wouldn't mind.

Well, it's reality TV...so that's subject to debate

She apparently didn't know that anything was going to happen. I mean, she could've said no when the guy proposed and they said they were going to have the wedding there. It's nice how they were able to get the families there, though

I'm completely suspicious. There must be at least 16 cameras filming that scene. All hidden. The lighting required for TV is twice as bright as a normal scene.
