Foreskin Psoriasis

A couple of years ago I found out the inner side of my foreskin (the area right under the head) started peeling. I guess, because it keeps peeling, the skin gets thinner, and is easily broken. It is uncomfortable for me to have sex, especially if I want to top a guy.
I went to a dermatologist early this year. He took a skin sample, and told me that I have a type of psoriasis. He gave me some steroid cream, and didn't really have a cure for it.
I'm wondering if any of you have similar problem, and how are you coping with it. Do yo ever get cured? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I have Psoriasis on my scalp & have been treating it for about 20 years, there is no cure that I know of ,just times that it gets better.There is one thing that I found that helps is tanning.the uv light helps.Ps.use tanning lotion you don't want to burn your foreskin !!

i have psoriasis on my scalp also. like Panda said, there is no cure. it will flare up from time to time based on various things, (google the list) but sunlight helps, and depends on the part of the country too, cuz in the winter when its gets cold, mine really flares up.
I was given a steroid cream called Triamcinolone Acetonide. that really clears it up to the point where its undetectable. it is presribed, so maybe your doc can give something like that to help you? I didnt realize how common psoriasis was til I did some research on it. its more of a nuisance than anything. good luck.

salt water baths/swimming-soaking is ocean is really good for it. I have psoriosis over much of my body. I get the wierd looks from people all the time.

There is no cure, the flare ups are a bitch to deal with.

Well, I guess this is one of the few times where getting circumcised is a good idea outside of converting to Judaism. Can't get psoraisis on a foreskin you no longer have.

I have eczema. If my dick is dry, I usually just can apply some ointment to it. I suppose you just have to apply the cream for however long the dermatologist recommends. Is it possible the soap you are using is affecting it?

I have some flare ups in the winter - and although I am circumcised and did not have it on my penis, I had it on my ass cheeks and aside from the steroid cream that they gave me, which only slightly helped, I found that tanning and using a TON of moisturizer helped. At one point I had a pair of long underwear that I only wore to bed when I moisturized because I put so much moisturizer on that these were ruined within a week.

I've had psoriasis for many many years and at times on the genitals, but I am circumcised so have not had the forskin problem. Good luck.
