And we, the sheep, buy it all.

Rather neat, though.

^^ Why do Scots wear kilts?

Sheep can hear a zipper a mile away.

Pretty much the same idea. Good old overused chord progressions.

Ah, the good ole I - v - vi - IV progression....

However, I have to disagree w/ OneRepublic's "Apologize" having the same chord progression as Alicia Keys. There's is: i - VI - V/VI - v (sus2). Entirely different.

Re: four chrods, 36 songs

god, his bad vocal totally ruined some of the songs in there. :grrr:

But what's wrong with same piano chord progression? There are more to a song than that. As you can seen in the songs, the style is totally different. Unless it's instrumental song, then ya.

Re: four chrods, 36 songs

I always thought it was "three chord medley". Wait. That's punk. Go GBD!!!!

Re: four chrods, 36 songs

Sheesh, just cuz Pachebel and Journey used strong root movement, doesn't mean other people can't use strong root movement. It's like the first thing you learn in advanced theory. The 1-5-6-4 progression in the first vid, is just a variant of that. It's not like all those songs are in the same key, they just changed it to suit their voices.......
