Stumbled across this on Yahoo news - and was pleasantly surprised. I give them a load of credit for doing the vid, they're very open and relaxed about it all. Well done them.

University rowers go stark naked for charity calendar

Rowers from Warwick University have stripped naked for a charity calendar to raise awareness about homophobia. The calendar features 14 members of Warwick University Rowing Society all aged between 18 and 21.

Reminds me of the annual Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race (the only rowing event I ever watch)

Meh. Rowing is all very overly posh and upper-class, and they always have too much stylishly bushy hair.

Hopefully we can get a bunch of those big strong muscular stocky brash Rugby League blokes (slightly nearer to my very choosy tastes ) to strip off next and do the same!

So the whole rowing team is Gay? I suppose it helps them with their stroke, and, no doubt, their cox is a very popular guy, if a bit on the small side. I expect the 'not so fit' students might be looking for a back way into the team.

Of course we have Rugby in the States. McQuaid Jesuit High School here in town has a pretty tough team.
SUNY Brockport has an NCAA Div I Rugby team.

Of course, Rochester also has a Curling Club, and Women's Professional Soccer/FootBall.

Rugby like lacrosse is very much a "Northeast" sport in the US. I would say the same for crew. Head of the Charles Regatta is the biggest crew/rowing event in the world outside of the Olympics after all.
