FOX News and hate speech

I watch more MSNBC than you; that's a guarantee.

And sorry about the pussy; you should try dick. Might make you post better.

First off, I applaud you for using an apostrophe in "that's". :=D: The corrections are gratis.

It's amusing to watch you prance around in CE&P scolding everyone and name calling... the "little people" and the "JUB club"..... it must make you feel important. Isn't it time to move out of your Mom's basement?

Now, since having the last word is important to you, be my guest as I've grown bored with you.

Have fun with the vagina ;)

I didn't say it wasn't biased. Chance's statement is it's MSNBC is clearly more partisan than Fox. It's not.

Nope, MSNBC isn't as anti-president now because they were holding Bush to task on his bankrupt and corrupt polities, something Fox would never have done. If Obama fucks up as bad as his predecessor (which he won't; he's still cleaning up the shit pile Bush dumped us in) they'll get on him. In fact they're holding Obama accountable and questioning him about his campaign promises that haven't been kept. Is that something Fox did during the Bush administration? No way. They sugar coated his fuckups and blamed the Democrats on everything that went wrong. Bush / Cheney and company could do no wrong in their eyes.

Oh please. The fact that you can't even admit how outrageously they treated him betrays your own bias. Telling a sitting president to shut the hell up is as bad as anything Fox has said about Obama.

Tangential, but: I got the same e-mail, and it pissed me off because it was yet another plea for donations.

I've become so jaded about pretty much all gay rights orgs. It's all about money. The mailings they send are sparse, and when they do bother to report on important news/information, they always just use it as an opportunity to beg for more donations.

Anyway, my inclination is that BillO has probably used hate speech before, but I don't have any real examples. I just remember his remark (or "joke" as I'm sure he called it  ) encouraging terrorists to blow up the Coit Tower in San Francisco, just because San Francisco admirably banned ROTC recruiting because of DADT (or the Iraq War or something). He's a severely hateful troll, and he's spewed out a lot of extremely vile shit, which is sad because he makes more sense than a lot of the FOX News talking heads a lot of times.

That's not hate speech. A poor choice of words? Yeah. But not hate speech.

LOL, no, nothing hateful about inviting terrorists to blow up a large building in a major American city!

I understand that the true aim might have been to imply that San Francisco isn't entitled to the benefits of defense by the United States military from any outside attackers, but he got overly specific and concocted some scenario in which he'd invite an actual attack.

That's not just "poor word choice."

Its not hate speech. There is no scenario in which it is. You are expanding its definition to fit your own bias.

This is the definition of hate speech:

A term for speech intended to degrade, intimidate, or incite violence or prejudicial action against someone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. The term covers written as well as oral communication.

So yeah, what he said was a poor choice of words. But it isn't hate speech by any stretch of the imagination.

^ I hadn't noticed. I looked at this thread, and thought about the frivolity of Fox News Channel.

Frivolity? ;)

"hate speech" is not frivolity - This thread is about Fox being hateful

Your video did not put Fox in a bad light - r u suggesting it did?

Funny how all the FOX hating left-wingers on here couldn't find one example of hate speech. They only hate the network because they aren't in business to promote a liberal agenda. Meanwhile the haters are glued to MSNBC. Go figure.

Fox News (and sometimes CNN) usually has people from both sides of an issue to discuss that issue.

How often do you see that on MSNBC?

The mouthiest Republicans won't go on anything but Fox because they're afraid they'll have to respond with real answers. Can you imagine Michele Bachmann or Tim Pawlenty appearing on an MSNBC show and be asked real questions instead of the agreeable fluff that's asked on Fox? They simply won't appear on MSNBC..... they want to remain in the safe arms of their creator: Fox.

When MSNBC actually gets a cowardly Republican on they are asked real questions they have to respond to.

Lately all they're been talking about it that God-awful Sarah Palin and gasping "...will she run...?". That's when I mute the sound or change the channel.

Springer, watch the channel and you'll learn something.

Fox loses its mind regularly over "hate speech" as if they are being persecuted, by people not even accusing them of "hate speech".

Hate speech? :

Now funny as shit how fast Fox screams "HATE SPEECH" by the left. If this is Fox's own definition of "hate speech" then the top 2 videos I posted are CLEARLY "hate speech". Fox impunes itself.

Also, as Billo states the critics of Prejean (Miss America contestant) were using "hate speech", as well as MSNBC's talk on the TeaBaggers. Again, by Billo and FOX New's own definition of "hate speech" they too are guilty as charged.

Republicans are invited all the time but refuse to appear anywhere other than the safety of Fox.

Cenk Debates Gay Republican On MSNBC

If you ask a Republican a question that isn't on the script they go running like a frightened rabbit.

Again Springer, you fail.

Again, I fail? WTF are you talking about -- pull up a couple of whiney assed liberal talk show hosts that do nothing but demean people who don't agree with them

.... kinda sounds like some of the liberals on CEP.

No one is failing Bob, but people who don't have an open mind and listen to all sides.
