Fox News has NEVER said Americans will go to jail for not buying healthcare

Q: How many Northerners does it take to chance a light bulb?

A: Two, one to mix the drinks and the other to call an electrician.

Q: How many Congress-critters does it take to change a light bulb?

A: Congress-critters don't change light bulbs; they hire people with your tax dollars.

Stewart deprecates those who are in perceived power.

Notice the difference?

But to many people he's no more funny than a turd in the mailbox.

I think he's kind of like Chevy Chase: some people laugh at the same things in his flicks, over and over; other people laugh once and never again; some never laugh, but ask for something grownup -- like my former college roommate, who got up and left at a house showing of some Chevy Chase flick, with the comment, "I got over laughing at playing with poop in my drawers when I was three".

I find Stewart a lot like Chevy Chase: sometimes I laugh once, sometimes I don't laugh at all, and other times I wish he'd stop playing with the poop in his diapers and thinking the world will laugh.

Ok.. so... Bill O'Fucknut says "nobody on Fox News said..."

And then we have a long video of people on Fox News saying.....

And your defense is that... not ALL the people in the video were on salary?

Ok. Good luck with that.#-o

Ever thought of running for office? You're awfully good at the form of dishonesty of answering the question you wish had been asked instead of what was asked.

I pointed out that responsible journalism would have focused on people on Fix, as in people on the staff, etc., and forgotten about people who blathered on the air, because those aren't part of Fox. You dodged that, so I asked if all those people were really employed by Fox. Now you change the subject yet again.... ](*,)

In fairness, many of the people in those clips were guests on the various programs, and it would be unfair to hold Fox News accountable for what their guests say. That being said, many of those clips were paid by Fox, so that doesn't mean much.

It should also be noted, though, that there was a point during the year-long debate when jail time was a possibility for not buying health insurance, Keith Olbermann even railed against that. But, in the final bill, it is only possible indirectly. And that should also be remembered. For not buying health insurance, you get fined. If you don't pay that fine, you could wind up in jail.

However, let's not forget that MSNBC is as bad on the left as Fox is on the right. And that Fox News, regardless of what Bill O'Reilly says, is meant to be a conservative media organization. That was Rupert Murdoch's intent. That's what's meant by "fair and balanced" because Murdoch believes that the media overall has a distinct liberal bias, and so a conservative outlet is there to balance things out.

Even Walter Cronkite was biased, as is The Economist, there's nothing inherently wrong with bias and many would argue the total lack of it is impossible to achieve.
