Fox News: How can this be so?

the guy paid his dues - this is america - we have a legal system that takes care of that stuff

he's a police expert i guess

what show is he on?

greta?

it's not like he's the face of fox news

al fucking sharpton is the biggest racist in the world - and all the nets let him on

He's on Greta's show. O'Reilly's show. He's on the most popular cable news channel in America. Etc.

He's a police expert ( ) that's a convicted felon and known racist. He shouldn't be on TV for the stated reasons.

He didn't pay his dues. Perjuring yourself and then plea bargaining your way to probation for two years is a joke. (Hey what kind of probation does a perjurer get? No lying for the two years?)

Disclaimer: NOT ALL "older people" are prejudice. My grandparents aren't prejudice but a LOT in their generation are.

PS: You feel Sharpton is a racist? I don't. I'd eat lunch with him. I actually think he has a lot of good ideas. Some of the things he said during the debate were morally and righteously there. Like Colbert, Maher or that other guy on Comedy Central said, Sharpton's the only one willing to tell the truth because he's got nothing to lose.

Lost, are the underpinnings of your nascent Repuglicanism shaking?

You're in the wrong party boy, they don't like your kind, and lump you with the rest of us queers and niggers. But they'll thank you for your support while they rebuild the gas chambers.

The newer generations who can't come to powerful positions soon enough are much more open minded of people who are different. And that's a fact.

A few minutes of a movie from 1967 when one of today's 60 crowd was your age.

What I hope you'll see starts at about 1:30 into this clip and hits its mark at 2:40-2:55 but watch the whole thing because the context is important. Please watch it.

The over 60 crowd was your age once and had the same passion, the same impatience, the same yearning for change, the same anger and frustration at the older generation. They sacrificed and worked hard to make those changes, and many changes happened. Marry your youthful enthusiasm and idealism with their experience and knowledge, work with them, don't toss them aside. They care and they know a lot more than you because they've been where you are and many more places since then -- working with them instead of against them will make even better things happen.

Al got on the Brawley case because he thought it was legitimate. So did the media. So did most Americans. We would have no reasons to believe it was false.

I'd have no reasons to check my wallet if I met Sharpton. Why would I need to check my wallet? Not because he's black right?

I'd rather have dinner with Sharpton than Mark Fuhrer.

If gays had someone that got on the cases of homophobes like Sharpton does for African Americans, I think people in Hollywood and the media would be less willing to be openly anti-gay.

PS: Despite being an ordained reverend, he thinks you're equal. He thinks your sexuality and being gay shouldn't hinder you from enjoying the same civil rights as heterosexuals. What do you think Mark Fuhrer thinks about you and your sexuality? I see a lot of condemnation of Sharption (which really is just smoke and mirrors considering this thread isn't about him) and little actually said about Faux News/Mark Fuhrer.

Huh? Where are you getting this from?

this is actually a mild description of al sharpton's role in the tawana brawley case

enjoy ur dinner with him

both he and mark fuhrman are obviously hateful people

al's past is checkered with many more moments than mark

and is much worse as it is more of a pattern with him - as in his entire life

not saying mark is a good guy or even a good hire

but it's the same concept as having al on

except one rails against whites, jews, etc. - and has for his entire lifetime

the other has one case on record

but the latter is the guy we gotta keep off the air

and the former u wanna have dinner with

pardon me if i think that smells fishy

Well, the 20% has made their appearance and is taking up for racists. Unbelievable.

I haven't seen anyone here "taking up for racists".

What I've seen is taking up for free speech -- you know, that thing in the Constitution, the one that a Supreme Court Justice pointed out the we wouldn't need it except to protect speech we hate?

Fuhrman may be a racist.
Sharpton may be a racist.

They both say things people hate.
That's exactly what's protected.

An American lives with it.
Anyone who believes in liberty lives with it.

Live with it.

It's Fox. Most of their audience are racist bigots.
That simple statement shows your bigotry as well.

Is Alan Combs a racist? Geraldo Rivera?

Interesting how only the news that fits your pre-determined objectives is honorable to you.

This thread has nothing to do with Sharpton. Nothing. I have no hard feelings towards Sharpton nor do I feel threatened by him at all.

I do dislike Mark Fuhrer (remember this thread started out about him but now it's turning to Superb Sharpton).

I think it is probably 33%. That 33% is the minimum idiot percentage. Bush never got below a 33% approval rating. It's now a law that no matter how bad you are, you'll have at least 33% support.

(And to think gay men are going after someone who supports their civil rights but have relatively ignored a racist in Fuhrer.)

i know the thread is about fox and fuhrman and his appearing on the network (not that much)

my point is u skewer them for having him - legit beef

but

al has a lifetime's worth of bigotry - really bad shit - he's on networks all the time getting treated oh so nice as if he is not the same person who did all those horrible racist things

fuhrman has 1 incident - and he should be boycotted?

or fox should be skewered for having him?

seems pretty inconsistent

You got to be kidding, either that or you have some strange ideas of what's racist..

Al Sharpton is one of the biggest racists walking the earth...Just because he's black doesn't mean he should get a pass.

Living in NY, we got ringside seats to this bigots antics..For years he made racially biased statements against white people..

The only thing he had was his credibilty, and he whored that out..

Trust me, you'd have nothing to worry about. Just because he isn't campaigning for gays or whites (presuming you're Caucasian) doesn't mean he's racist.

It's threatening to whites that they have this black man who tries to mow over presumed racists. And one by one, the Imus's, the Johnny Carson's, the Dog the Bounty Hunters, the racist judges, celebrities are being called to answer for their bigotry.

THAT'S FINE WITH ME!

Has Sharpton ever uttered slurs against whites ? Or bragged about beating up whites in handcuffs? Or saying all whites should be burned?

I don't think so.

That's a racist.

Calling racist whites out is honorable not racist. Now the Imus' and Trent Lott's much watch what comes out of their potty mouths.

What? All you got is spell check? Faux snooze is spelled that way on purpose. (sarcasm)
Faux: French, false.
sarcasm: French, a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
snooze: origin unknown, to take a nap
I use Firefox, spell check is built in.
Now to answer other posts, I have no use for racists. I know what is free speech. Racists have none in my book. :gogirl:
