It's funny because I always wondered how foxnews was so conservative but the tv shows aired on fox seem to mock hardcore right-wingers (American Dad) or are just tastelessly raunchy.

And then the Simpsons aired an episode that exactly addresses that, haha

Lisa: One thing I've always wondered… How can Fox News be so conservative when the Fox Network keeps airing raunchy shows? They don't fit together.

(Lisa then proceeds to flips channels between Fox News and Fox Network until Kent Brockman takes the remote control away from her.)

Kent: Fox deliberately runs shows that will earn them huge fines which are then funneled through the F.C.C. straight to the Republican Party. Everybody in the media knows it, but no one has the guts to say it!

Wow, talk about reading/seeing much into it. As someone mentioned before, that's the local NY/NJ Fox 5 News. They usually have an image of the video they're about to present on the background. And the video happens to be about McCain, not some bull subliminal message

I'm in no way defending McCain but that's just stupid

I'm probably butting in where I don't belong, but last time I checked, Stephen Harper (Conservative) was still the Prime Minister and I don't think I missed a Federal Election on the other side of the border... From what I've seen of CBC Newsworld and RDI, I've been impressed - a more global outlook than in the US and a less biased approach to news.

Je trouve, d'habitude, que CBC Newsworld et RDI consacrent plus de temps sur des histoires de partout dans le monde et leur présentation est assez équilibré...
