My Aunt forwarded an interesting email to me this am. There is no indication who started the email. The original email was from "Ric" to "Ric" which indicates to me that he used BCC function to hide who he sent the email to originally. The addy appears to be just a person, no corporate ID about it.
But, I guess we will find out tonite at 9 Eastern just what President Obama has been up to. News at 11.
I might add, my family is 99% Pug, so everyone is all excited to watch Faux tonite.


This Sunday Fox news, is going to air a very important documentary about Barack Obama, Sunday night at 9 P M Eastern.

The report will go back to Obama's earlier days, showing even then his close ties to radical Marxist professors, friends, spiritual advisers, etc. It will also reveal details about his ties to Rev. Wright for +20 years i.e. how he was participating with this man, and not for the reasons he states!


The report has uncovered more of Obama's radical past and we will see things that no one in the media is willing to put out there. It will be a segment to remember.

Puhleeze... consider the source. Faux News is hardly the most credible place to get your news. Besides, I'll bet that if you watch their "facts" closely, you'll find that they're out of context.

Presidential candidates in the US are usually investigated by the press -- it didn't happen in the 2008 election of Barak Obama. Fox did have a few stories about his background and education however nothing of much substance.

I assume after the Obama Administration's attack on the free press that FOX now sees that they have the right to expose details on his life.

Aren't you interested in knowing more about him?

A free press is so important to the success of the USA.

Yes I am interested in knowing more about him, however I will certainly not expect any truth from Faux.
I swear I'm fighting off the Hiney flu and when 8 central came around last nite I said fuck it and was in bed. I figured it would be all over the Faux website, but I haven't seen anything about it. I guess they were just joking around.:rolleyes:

When they accuse their opponent of doing something, THEY are actually the ones who support it.

Case-in-point, Fox news. (which is an entertainment channel, not a news network)

"Totalitarian Socialism" is what they claim

but George Bush had the most Totalitarian Socialistic administration in American history!!!

He didnt veto a single SPENDING BILL (socialism)
He cut taxes for the RICHEST AMERICANS (socialism for the rich)
He started TWO WARS (socialism for war profiteers)
He concentrated executive power (executive privilege, signing statements, warrantless spying, torture etc)
Debt skyrocketed with new entitlements (more socialism, surprise!)


The list goes on!

So for fox news to accuse obama of doing such horrible things when bush was a saint? lost all credibility. more scare tactics for the witless right.
 
Faux Noise is, indeed, an Entertainment Channel, as opposed to a News Organization. Real News does not organize, promote, and then "cover" their own groups and protests. Nor do they create their own "facts" by distorting, and then enhancing, dubious, unsubstantiated, points taken out of context, from questionable "sources".

Yes, Real News has been known to report with a certain "slant". But, they usually refrain from trying to Make the News, and further promote "fanning the flames".

Fox should be registered as a PAC!

Well, folks, here it is. I'm glad I didn't take the time to look for it. I was looking at a story about Vitter being attacked by a rape victim because he voted against Frankens bill about contractors raping women.

The Obama White House has, for the past few weeks, waged an informal war on Fox News, lashing out against the network for its conservative bias and blacklisting it from interviews with high-ranking administration officials.

So what type of counter-punch did Fox have to offer?

On Sunday they handed over the first half of their hour-long Sunday show to an interview with bombastic radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh

Basically, it is giving the Foaming-Frenzied Right more of what they are asking for to hold their appetites over. Either Obama's past bothers you, or it doesn't at this point.

I'm not the least bit bothered by journalistic investigation of any president. That's their job. My only complaint is that there should have been more of this done on Bush's shift.

No president should ever be too good for criticism. That's not Democratic or Republican. That's what we need more of.
