Fox News: "The war on men has begun."

I liked the article. Of course there will be repercussions when one tries to erase the differences between the traditional gender roles. Women said they don't need men, fine. Now they want us back, but only in roles that they define for us. No thanks. I'm learning that I can dojust fine with out women now.

And BTW, Fox is just the medium. Many other news outlets have reported on this story months ago. Nothing ground breaking here.

That title "The war on men has begun." is crazy and over-sensationalised.

The 'readjustment' commenced over 30 years ago. We'll all be gender-neutral in 30 years time.
 
Hopefully I'll be long dead before then. Gender neutral is not an option for me thanks.
 
To be fair gender roles were created out of genetics. They were only hyper-instituted by society.

Men have the genetic predisposition to build muscle, protect the home, and get food. Women have the predisposition to nurture, and care for children.



Fortunately for us we have become an advanced civilization and our genetics no longer hold us back in many regards, including this one.
 
Interesting article. It seems like it should be in The Onion, though...

So... if we disagree with its premise, why do we think there has been a shift in the marriage ideals between the sexes? I was a little surprised that the women who want marriage numbers were increased; I thought they'd have fallen as parts of society move away from the conservative/traditional viewpoint on the importance of these things.
