By the way , as my birthday is within 3 or 4 weeks I decided to visit a trusted hair salon in the country side and I got my hair bleached to a very light stage ...I plan to dye it pastel pink or just tone it with an ashy blonde ... I do that to pamper myself and to feel vibrant ... I've loved having vibrant hair since I was a teen

I'm sorry if you thought I was implying that you celebrate St. John's Day. I find that I get interested in feast days from mostly a cultural and not a religious standpoint. I was raised Baptist (which I no longer am), and we didn't have saints or lent or a liturgical calendar, any of that.

Since you're a Cancer, I take it your birthday Is coming up soon. I hope you celebrate in grand style. :bday:

Johnnie , don't be sorry , I ain't simply interested in religious festivities .

For instance , a block away from my house , there will be a Saint Peter and Saint Paul celebration , I never took part of it because what it brings is shady people who get drunken , lots of noise cus' of the fireworks , lots of trash everywhere , both men and women urinating everywhere , in brief , they trash the area with the excuse of honouring Saint Peter and Saint Paul

I hope to have a peaceful birthday , thanks for your wishes Johnnie I wish I could celebrate it with total freedom but I have " nurse-like " home duties to fulfill daily which has changed things for me ...

I can certainly see you not wanting to have any part of the sort of "celebration" you describe. I don't enjoy being around rowdies and their drunken carousing, pissing everywhere, shooting off fireworks, etc. It's like they think life's not worth living unless they can give themselves over to that dissipation. I've seen enough of that kind of thing here in the States. What's wrong with having a quiet gathering with a few friends?

I hope you've gotten over that wild celebrating going on around you, and it's now nice and quiet. It's Independence Day here in the States, and everybody will be shooting off fireworks and drinking, etc., so it will be our turn for that foolishness. I'm sorry you have to deal with that son of a bitch neighbor, who appears to have cut down your brugmansias out of meanness. There must be a special place in hell for those types. I'm glad that kitten is OK, and is coming back around.
