Wow, you have to hand wash all your clothes due to lousy water service? That sounds like an awful lot of hard work.

Well , washing clothes by hand can be kind of aggravating when there's not enough water pressure , I used to be more active with my " by hand laundry " 2 years ago , but since the water service became lousy , I've gone lazy LOL , sometimes I end up washing my clothes once in a while in the old washing machine in the middle of the night ( I also take showers in the middle of the night cus that's the only time there's water pressure )

Anyway , when there's good water pressure washing clothes can be sometimes fun ... you can make your clothes last for over a decade or even longer if you wash it gently by hand , the washing machine makes clothes wear out fast ....

Sometimes I wash my shirts by hand, and always my handkerchiefs.
As a kid, I loved washing clothes with my grandma, but doing it regularly sounds like a nightmare

The other night the Rare Fruit Council had a speaker who had traveled to Peru, and talked about and showed pictures of all the fruits grown and sold in the markets in your country. He also showed pictures of local fish and seafood, and of course all the Inca ruins. The more I find out, the more Peru looks like an interesting country.

I'm alright , I hope you're doing well also
There is a wide range of fruits here , I live in a highlands city , we get most of the fruits produced in the markets , however , there are some fruits that are easily found in jungle towns , I miss the taste of Zapote ... I haven't eaten it since 1995 haha

The seafood here is very tasty and diverse as well . Peru is a very unique country , the problem is we've got hyper corrupted authorities who steal state funds to become rich , there's so much corruption in this country ... All in all , South America is a very diverse and special area of the world ....

Sounds like Peru would be a great country to visit, though the speaker at the Rare Fruit Council meeting seemed to think the next few months might not be the best time to go. He said something about elections and thinking there might be some unrest, though he didn't go into more detail than that.
