I got a free sample with the mustard I bought yesterday, and there was a $1.00 off coupon attached as well.

I opened the plastic package package last night to use as a dipping sauce for some chicken sticks. It looked like ketchup, but didn't smell like it. I decided to dip the tip of my finger in it and taste it before I started dipping my chicken in it.

RedHot? Yes.
Spicy? Yes.
Tasty? No.

I washed Frank's sauce down the sink and used plum sauce instead.

I am not a fan.

lol you must have got one of the other flavors, like the barbecue sauce one, because it doesn't look like ketchup, and i do put it on everything.

Buffalo wings without Franks Red Hot are NOT, repeat NOT Buffalo wings...

And I put it on everything! Eggs, omelettes, [STRIKE]cake[/STRIKE], rice, fires, fish fry... I love the flavor, and the fact that the spiciness does not overwhelm the flavor of the sauce, or the food

I am fond of the Texas Pete vinegar based sauce for Buffalo wings myself. It comes in a variety of hotness.

I don't know if i've had Frank's RedHot Sauce yet.

Hmmm. Might have to give it the old college try this sunday.

I've never seen it up here before. Didn't even know there were different flavours.

This is the one that came with the mustard. Next time I'm at Freshco I'll look to see if there are other varieties available:

I have a friend from Buffalo and he refuses to acknowledge that any wings that don't have Franks Red Hot and Butter are "wings". He also says that people that say "Buffalo Wings" are not from Buffalo

gadx, will gladly send you some REAL Frank's. When and where? Should I leave it at the Border Patrol Station? Not sure we're being allowed to lease the country.

Tip: leave top off so water evaporates over time. Found an old bottle of Tabasco - originally too mild - that had concentrated: Wow! Have a customer that works in a lab and he uses some kind of machine to reduce water content.

You NYer's sure do take your wings seriously.

I appreciate the offer, but I believe it is now illegal to send foodstuffs across the border in either direction. I'll just keep my eyes open for it up here. They don't usually offer free samples if it's not available, and these samples are obviously intended for Canadian consumers.

I haven't tried Franks but I do love me some hotsauce! As far as BBQ sauce goes, I love Stubb's spicy.

Well, Cajun's came from your neck of the woods. Have any moved back and brought their spices?

That's a thirteen-hundred kilometre long neck. Don't get much Cajun eats 'roun' here. Although the Hot Belly Mama restaurant in Peterborough seems to be doing okay. Haven't been there, though. I don't do restaurants very well.

I don't know who this Frank is, but I am suspicious of any hot sauce those nice people at the Louisiana factory make. Except for Srirhacha, which is also sweet nectar of the gods.

I was raised on Frank's, gsdx. Them's fighting words.

Here's the original:
