I never had a strong opinion about Fratmen/Fratpad one way or the other, beyond thinking that some of the guys were cute and whoever did the photography had a good eye for it. But the juvenile stunt they pulled the other day put me off, and now the behavior of the site's defenders is putting me off even more -- much, much more. They're not doing the site any favors, that's for sure.

Amen, brother. It's too obvious what's happening here, isn't it? Perhaps Soilwork should get better control of his boys and their followers. Flaming and flooding JUB is definitely not a good idea.

Whatever it is, they seem to be pretty good at it judging from what I've seen of their stuff (admittedly not a whole lot, but still). I'd hate to see them self-destruct. I don't know of anyone else here who's doing anything quite like the tasteful, artistic solos and nudes of boy next door slash frat types that they're doing... sort of an American take on Bel Ami before Bel Ami started doing hardcore. Maybe artsy solos aren't enough to turn everyone's crank, but I think it's great that at least someone in this country is doing something like that and doing it well.
 
i thought the other point of locking the fratpad thread was because its to outta control yet heres another common sense is that the drama over there will come here, and i love how i never got a answer to my question in that thread rofl

Trust me, they know exactly how badly their posts are being received.

In line with Sean Cody & Corbin Fisher etc who regularly check in on JUB, whilst what we have to say here is often of interest, they listen more to the opinions of their existing members - not a group of disgruntled ex-members.

yeah ..... solos doesn't turn many people on as much.
 
Solos don't do a lot for me, but the guys are hot and the pix and vids are good quality. Many of the sites are all about getting the guys to cross the line into guy/guy stuff and I'm all for that. Fratmen however, gives guys a chance to get naked, show their stuff, and get off. It's great for guys who don't want to do anything with another guy or who want to test the waters.
 
but is it in their contract saying that they are

"exclusive" and they can't do other porn work for a few years ???

You think the thread should be locked because you disagree so strongly with the opinions being expressed here?

I don't think threads are locked for that reason. Perhaps you meant something else?
 
I think Mustangman meant that this thread started out being about an update that a member didn't like because it featured a returning model and not a new one but it's branched off into many other topics since then. He's probably right.

But I'm happy to keep it open.
 
I've been in fora* where threads were kept strictly on topic, and ones where they were allowed to run wild.

Believe me, running wild is more fun.

Thank you Jason. I made this statement for two reasons:
1) The initial intent was to provide feed back to the Fratmen producers. I believe that they have received the message guys.
2) This is now becoming a take off from another thread that has been locked down.

As for me asking for this to be locked down and the comments about free speech, at some time, enough is enough.

MOVE ON GUYS. GET OVER THIS. If the producers made a mistake with their stunt last week, they can not change things but I am sure that that will not happen again.
