It was my understanding Doug had done guy/guy stuff before but Ty hadn't. FP may like drama but having to cancel and refund everyone is a lot of trouble for some manufactured drama. Something beyond control must have actually happened.

I don't think anyone thinks this was manufactured. Why on earth do you even say that?

If you read jaxon29's post, it looks like he is also saying that he _doesn't_ think it was manufactured. Notice how he contrasts "a lot of trouble" with what "must have actually happened"--something beyond control.

Still, it's sort of upsetting. I considered skipping a play to see the duo. I'm glad that I didn't. And I hope both guys are doing okay.

If attendance was very low, it could be that Doug and/or Ty were unwilling to do the duo for the amount of money they would have received.

I didn't really think they did the whole 'cancel' thing on purpose, but in the original post you said FP "thrives on drama". I was thinking several things had happened in the past that were sort of questioned by everyone. The show went dark once and supposedly someone had broken into the pad location or something. Comments seemed to think it was all staged. Can't remember exactly. So I just commented about things being manufactured, meaning staged, but added I didn't think they'd go that far and have to refund, etc.

I sometimes think that the duos could be better advertised. I've often found out about a duo on the day that it was supposed to happen, and I also find it odd that, in order to view a duo, one must first sign up for fratpad. So it's not really $79, it's more like $109 or thereabouts.

It would be nice if fratpad had a page that you could bookmark, outside of the members-only area, to check and see when the next duo will be and who will be involved in it.

Wait. I don't get it.

Why would you pay $80 for an individual session? Don't you pay a one-time membership fee of $40 and see everything?

You think $79 is a lot of money?
Flirt for Free charges $6 a minute ($240 an hour) to watch a guy j/o. You watch only once.
Duos have 2 guys, with whom you have presumably developed some rapport, sucking each other and possibly more. You can watch it multiple times over 48 hrs. By some measures, a duo is a bargain.

Compared to other sites with MUCH hotter guys (subjective, I know, but IMHO the recent servings of fratmen have been a whole lot of bustedness on decent bodies) where you pay under $30 a month and get TONS of singles, duos, trios from a variety of models doing variety of acts .. you name it, you got it. And you get to keep ALL the videos for as long as you wish and view it for as many times as you wish..

On the other side we have a $79 deal for a make out and bj session which you can only view for 2 days? Not to mention the horrid webcam quality of the video? yup. alot of money, indeed.

You're kidding, guys, aren't you? You actually pay that much? Why, for godssake? There is so much video porn on the net. Okay, maybe a yearly membership but even $40.00 for that seems totally excessive. Get a grip. But that's just my own view. I can't imagine how much money I would have to have before I would spend so much for something so available at such lower prices.

More like get a frickin boyfriend lol... jeez!

Naked guys being silly and messing around can be erotic and good fantasy material. I don't always have to see hardcore sexual activity. However, you can get a one month membership to three different sites for less than $79 ( usually $25/mo ) so I'd rather do that. In fact YouTube is getting pretty racy and has tons of boys kissing and goofing around.

Please answer my question. Thanks!

I think the answer to your question is this:

There are two different sites produced/presented by the same people: fratmen.tv (or fratmen.com) is a site with professionally produced videos, mostly solo, of hot young guys. fratpad.com is a "reality web site" where about 6-7 hot young guys live at a house in "Fiji" and take turns being naked and chatting on cam throughout the day. Each is a separate site with separate memberships.

The videos on fratmen.tv are downloadable and may be saved and viewed whenever. fratpad.com is about streaming video, and about once a month, two of the guys will do a private, "pay per view" show where they go further, in front of a live audience. Usually, this involves kissing and sucking, although it's never possible to find out in advance exactly what you're going to see.

And don't you have to belong to one of the sites to be able to buy the "pay per view" show which costs $79?

Actually when see the pictures of these guys they really good, but the turn off to me is all that goofy shit. I'll stick with 19.99 a month for Sean Cody

No, you don't get to see everything with the site membership fee, and thus must pay extra to see a private show.

What Fratpad needs to consider in this modern day economy that is collapsing is maybe to consider having these ppv's as a free once or twice a month occurance on the regular web service they provide...imagine the increase in membership if they actually had shows like their pay per views free to members of their site..but at 75.00+ for a 1 hr show?....hmmm eat for a week of jack off once? not a tough choice:cool:

A reoccuring reason besides activities one can see for free on xtube and youtube would definately draw in new members!!!!

holly crap I didn't even know prices are so high in the porn business just to watch someone jerk off. If our economy is in crisis, this sure shows that it's not that bad if the demand to watch someone jerk off for $80 plus is in the market. lol

Actually, the $79 live pay per view shows are not jerk-off shows - they include a lot more. You name it - it's probably been done in a duo. You are paying to watch it live plus you get to see it again as many times as you want on the 48-hour replay.
