I don't think I've ever been vaccinated for those, do you know if you can get them at the same time? And is it like a series like Gardasil? Because that one I did have all 3 doses!

HAV is 2 shots, usually give to children before their second birthday. HBV is typically three doses.

Your physician can look up your vaccination history in your State's registry. Or when he orders labs for your appointment, he can check for antibodies to see if you have immunity.

Does it matter when you were born? I know some of them do so I was born in 1988, I know my mom got me all of my shots. I mean I can ask when I get the blood test if they can check, I just wanna have as much info as I can going in.

HAV immunization was added to the pediatric list in 1999. HBV immunization was added in 1991.

Then I'm not quite sure I've had them then. Please keep checking in with me Kara I'm very scared of these next 3 months.

So I managed to track the guy down on sniffies (be warned you may not want to chance using this site).
1 He hardly remembered me
2 He said I tasted "yeasty" and gave him something and his tongue now has white sores on it. I WAS A VIRGIN! Could I have given him something? I mean I do take an inhaled cortico steroid called Arnuity and it can cause thrush (oral yeast infection) but I have never had thrush because I rinse my mouth 4 times gargle once then a full tooth brushing routine, floss and finally a slightly extended swish of Listerine about 45 seconds!
I mean I don't have the results of the urine test yet so my pcp thinks Gonorrhea or Chlamydia I'll most likely find out tomorrow could I have had something on myself and given myself a UTI via him sucking my cock and possibly pushing whatever was on my skin into my urethra? I've never had a UTI and I keep my cock clean I wash every day and might refresh once or twice depending on the day. I would almost like to know that it WAS me because this way I might have a little more peace of mind in that he was telling me the truth. I mean I would still get the HEP A B & C &HIV tests for complete peace of mind but then I might be able to breathe and calm TF down!

There's little to be gained by talking to the guy you played around with.

Over the years, I've seen a lot of STIs. Occasionally, we'll run across someone (typically female) who doesn't know they have gonorrhea. Men typically know. The sore throat with gonorrhea is not a typical sore throat. And peeing when you have gonorrhea is like having scalding water running through your dick.

Chlamydia can be a little more subtle but just a reminder- this discussion has all been triggered by a sebaceous cyst and there's no clear evidence that you contracted anything. Right now, you're on antibiotics pending test results which is the typical routine for for a primary care doctor.

We're advising you to get STI testing because we advise that for all sexually active people as part of their physical. You're in a very very low risk category.

Well waiting on the call from the dr hopefully he'll be getting back to me soon, I don't like the waiting game!

Well not more than 20 mins after I posted the above the Dr. called, NEGATIVE for STD'S \:/..| He thinks it was just caused by a bacteria that was always there and again like the cyst it was aggravated by the sex. I am still keeping the appointment in September for the physical and Hep and HIV screenings but I'm calming down a bit. Maybe the guy was telling the truth and I was too quick to judge. I'm still worried about those 2 screenings and but feeling slightly better about them because this was negative. I've already brought up HEP A and B vaccines and he said we'd absolutely look into them. I am holding true though in that I am done having sex, It was a promise I made to God and the Saints I've been praying to. Thank you everyone for your kind words and advice and for just being there. It means a lot to me that you guys were there for me when I literally had no one else to truthfully 100% turn to. (group) (*8*)

Read through the other thread & followed it to this one..sad to hear the experience ended up turning out the way it did for you. I'd be freaking out too if in that same situation.

Glad to hear your STD test results came back negative! Hope everything's good as well when you get the other screenings in Sept.

What have you learned form this?

Not to panic? Or jump to baseless conclusions?

That perhaps there may be other underlying reasons for your fear of sex?

It is your choice.....but I can pretty much guarantee you that God and all the Saints don't care about you having sex. Nor do they care that out of fear you made an absurd promise to yourself, but have made them responsible for your decision.

I will repeat the advice from the other thread. I would recommend that you seek out a qualified counsellor to communicate with and ideally meet to speak with about your issues with intimacy and sex, because I don't think it is only disease that you are afraid of.

It would also be good for you to learn a as much as you can about the simple biological facts of STD's in order to not be rendered into a kind of emotional paralysis brought on by guilt and shame.

But glad to hear that as expected, it was nothing at all to be worried about in the end.

So it was just a zit? That's good news, but hardly surprising. Now calm down and have more sex. (*8*)

I guess we have all been there one time or another - if you are young, you will get an occasional STI - if having unprotected sex. If you get someone you trust and are faithful to him, then may be consider unprotected sex. That said I am no saint...

^QFT with added clause in red for clarity.

We used to emphasize that the number of partners increases the risk. In the age of PrEP and Grindr, that message has gotten lost.

It's a good point to bring up that someone who is using condoms and is in a monogamish relationship lowers their risk (and their level of anxiety).

There are ways to reduce risk other than celibacy.

55 days to go to my physical. Having days where I'm ok then others where I am freaking out. Every ache twinge and pain I think is something.

I hope you find a way of coping with your anxiety.

Have you tried meditation, or any self-help therapy techniques.

Honestly, I think that is your greatest health need at your young years. If you could manage it, your days would be much happier.

Oh I know once this whole debacle is over I'll be my normal self.

8 days and counting anxiety still fluctuating but it'll all be over soon.
