1. Anybody know if these are real live cams? or are they precorded, then uploaded?
Almost all are live. Sometimes the couples cams are videos, and occasionally you'll see a solo cam that's probably recorded. (If the guy is in the same position for 2 hours, repeating the same motions, it's probably a video!)
2. Do the people in the cams have a username? and can they respond back? cause the ones ive been to, they don't talk and nobody knows what their screennames are in the chat
Yes, they can talk to you. Some straight guys will not talk to anyone with a male name. Some guys are so into what they're doing that they ignore the cam. Some guys are multi-tasking or watching another cam and ignoring comments. However, if you keep looking, you'll find cams where the cammer is quite friendly and chatty.
Their screennames are the same as the name at the top of the page (the cam's "label," so to speak). In the comments section, their names show up in red , while the viewers' names are in black. If there are no comments from a red screenname, then the cammer isn't saying anything.
I got banned for complimenting an asshole!!! Imagine if I had said something offensive!!!
Was he straight and were you using a male username? Some of the straight guys are VERY sensitive about remarks from men. If he banned you for a simple compliment, then I agree he's an asshole. On the other hand, some gays simply will not shut up, even when the cammer makes it clear that their comments aren't welcome. (Not saying that you did that,
kniteowl.) That's the time to leave, shut up or switch to a female name, if you're willing to do that.*
*If you do go this route, remember that the cammer can see your IP address. If "Joe" leaves and suddenly "Jane" starts posting from the same IP address, and the cammer notices, you're busted.
In any case, pretending to be a female - especially when the cammer asks you point-blank if you're a woman, is deceptive and tricky to pull off. I have seen many try it only to crash and burn. I have no idea how many get away with it because, obviously, if they're successful, then I wouldn't know. Clues to the fact that "Jane" is really "Joe" include:
--Jumping right to dirty talk without flirting a little first.
--Asking to see pits or feet. Maybe there are women pit- and foot-fetishists out there, but the cammer will be immediately suspicious.
--Repeating the same idiotic mantra over and over, like "cum now" or "my pussy is so wet." In fact, this is annoying to everyone else in the room whether you are being yourself or not.
--Demanding that the camera focus on the cock to the exclusion of the rest of the body or face.
Actually, demanding anything or getting mad if the cammer doesn't show you want you want to see is pretty rude. It's not like you're paying to watch or were invited to enter.
