Once again, freedom has been on the decline around the world in 2019.

Tribalism, corporate and state fascism and religious fundamentalism are strangling freedom.

The world is less free than a decade ago (Axios; December 30, 2019)

The worst part is that so many people appear more than willing to accept the loss.

And some countries who think they are 'free' have simply adjusted the definition to suit the new circumstances.
