Firstly I want to say that I have a download meter on my computer which monitors downloads and upload speeds.

For quite a while I visited a blog called Fresh Hotness and initially there was not an issue. However, since they moved domains and change the website address I had noticed that on occasion I was uploading something and could not work it out, as I did not have any program like Limewire installed...the other day I had been surfing as I usually do and noticed that the upload meter was at 0.0kB which is how it should be unless I send a message through messenger or such and they it momentarily goes to 0.1kB...then I visited the Fresh Hotness website (http://famouslikeme.blogspot.com/) and after viewing a number of the clips and leaving the website I noticed immediately that the upload was showing 5.6kB and the only way for me to stop the upload was to restart my computer. Yes, I know I have typed the website address but how could I not include it if I am giving you a warning.

It would appear that there is something hidden in the Fresh Hotness website that is not picked up by the spyware/adaware programs I have active on my computer that piggy backs your DSL connection.

I am unsure if I should try and contact the person who owns the website to let them know and for a brief moment in time allow them to piggy back off my DSL connection.

Anyways, I just thought that I would warn you all about what has been happening with me and the Fresh Hotness website.

Also, I am unsure if this is being placed in the right section and would ask the mods to move it to the appropriate forum if this is not the right one.

Am using Firefox and dont have Google toolbar addon installed or use my gmail account through firefox...but sending feedback is one thing (usually dont instantly) but this month I appear to have uploaded 1gig plus which is not normal as I dont use Limewire or any bit torrent type programs...I am just going by what my download meter tells me and the website was fine before it moved to this current location...if you have not had an issue then that is good...I am just warning people about what has been happening with me when I visit the website I mentioned. Plus feedback/tracking information would not account for the 5kB/sec upload

The fresh hotness blog is actually on Wordpress.
http://************.wordpress.com/

up until it was moved to
http://************.net/
which is being powered by wordpress.com as shown at the bottom of the page.

Guess I'm not allowed to post the link?
It automatically Starred out.

Opps...you are right...I inadvertently placed the wrong link in my original post. Sorry about that...because I do not have an issue with the Famous Like Me blog...it is the Fresh Hotness blog that I have an issue with

It's normal that a few bits and bytes are being transferred when being online yet not actively uploading something. Although 5kb/s are a bit much?

This is true...normally if I am doing nothing then the upload show 0.1kB/sec and since I no longer visit the Fresh Hotness website I have no unusually large uploads...the most it jumps to is 0.5kB/sec when replying to msn/yahoo and that would be expected
