I've done it before. It worked pretty well because we both realized that we weren't really compatible enough to be in a relationship or become romantically involved. It ended when I moved to a different area.


It's not something I would want to do long term, I don't even know if I'd do it again. But it worked at the time, especially since I was still figuring my sexuality out and probably not ready for a relationship.
 
I'm for it, but if it risks a friendship it would not be worth it. I met a buddy while out slutting and we did it for a few weeks and them stopped. I always let him initiate it. I have him over for dinner and movie ever two weeks and Friday I made a move on him, he said he felt weird because we were friends, but I reminded him that we were friends before too, so we did it and it was good. I think with guys it's easier because feelings don't have to get in the way. We will see what happens next time I have him over.

Never did it, no real interest. I'm a bit too prone to developing feelings for the people I have sex with, and so I'd say I'm too weak in that regard to be a good candidate to do a FWB thing.

There was this guy I knew in collage. We had sex a few times then, but it would be hard to call what we did dating. We were mostly friends. He finds his way back here every 2 years or so for business. We meet up if he is within a days drive and spend a day, maybe two if we both have time, together. We have dinner, catch up, and have dinner, catch up (although we email occasionally) and have sex. Does that count?

I think we just become more self sufficient. We convince ourselves that true love will make every ill feel better. You learn that a partner can't fix your insides, and if you can't manage them yourself, you may lose the relationship.

Then he comes in tired from cutting the grass, smelling of beer, passes out all sweaty on your bed, and you walk in there, snores, sleeping beer farts and a mixture of Body odor and grass and you tell him to get the fuck up and go take a shower.

the next day when you go to change the sheets you smell them, think of him, and get a woodie...lol

love is an addiction that makes you put up with an incredible amount of Bullshit.;)

I don't usually have sex with my friends, BUT I have become friend with some sexual acquaintances, with whom I still have sex.
 
I've a friend I've known around 40 years. We've been having sex on and off for about 30. It hasn't affected the friendship.

This is just what I'm looking for right now. I like sex and I like friendships. My relationships have all ended with hurt feelings or broken hearts, so I'm kind of sick of all that.
