Fuck Off Back To Your Own Country Then.

@belamo The map, if it is valid, is nonetheless deceptive. I assume it's based on surnames. Most whites are mutts of one sort or another. I, for example, have an Anglo-Norman surname, which would lead some people to think "English", but I'm more likely descended from Normans who invaded Ireland starting in the 1160s, and am--as importantly--Irish, Scottish, Ashkenazi Jew, German and Native American.

The ethnic breakdown in California as of the last census is 39% Hispanic, 35% White, 15% Asian, 5% Black, 1% Native American. The fastest growing segment of the population is multi-racial.

Were you to drop by the Beverly Hills High School campus you'd think Beverly Hills was 85% Persian Jewish, if you strolled around the southern STEM and medicine portion of the UCLA campus you'd think LA was 90% Asian; at the northern Humanities end you'd think it was 90% white. Enter any local government office and you'd think it was 75% black, 25% Hispanic. Drive by a homeless encampment and you'd think it was 100% white. Turn on the television and watch the ads during the Olympics? 70% black, 25% Hispanic and Asian, 5% white. It's pretty complicated.

The Jews fought a war and gained a state, just as the Brits, Ottomand, Arabs, Franks, Arabs, Romans and Jews who preceded them.

No.

Get your facts right, as Anglos like to say.

The modern state of Israel is founded equally on the antisemitism that wanted to get rid of as much Jewish people out of urban areas, where they could... would continue to be a source of trouble with the good old traditional "nazi" native population of Central and Eastern Europe, and on the despise for Arab peoples who did not constitute any source of interest, profit or vague affinity, like the "Old Covenant" texts could sometime be for even the most Christian fundies: the vast minority of pushers, shakers and movers that always change things, anywhere, anytime (at least in the part of the world where things ever DO change to some extent, to wit, the Western world) forced a fait accompli situation upon people who had been living in a territory that some other people who had never been there considered their own, through the sanction of some old tales considered sacred even by those of different nations and faiths who had actually oppressed and massacred them for centuries and, more decisively, some vague cultural connection among members of a global diaspora.

Then, once they had forced their presence and the global powers that be acquiesced to the situation, they did fight a war against people whose great crime was to fight for the right to live in a land they had owned for centuries, and the right to demand a negotiation over that situation, not the new one created by the pushy fait accompli one.

The state of Israel depended on American imperialism for its stability and survival during the past decades and, now that the USA has been receding to a more self-reliant position, only occasionally interested in temporarily dropping a paw here or there overseas to keep greasy, functional and more or less happy certain boiler room operators, is finally stooping to sucking up to the powers of the big wide Apache territory surrounding that stripe of coastal Mediterranean heath.

When I searched for it, be it about this or a different map, I read something about citizens self-recognition of belonging to this or that ethnicity... which is how one would better understand it anyway.

One does not need to be Whoopi Goldberg to sense the added idiocy of that distinction, added over the well-known idiocy of establishing crass racial or ethnic distinction: one senses the swelling mess that make "Latin" American people cry at the consideration of the "original" European "Latin peoples" as... "Latin". Let's just say they are "Latinos", while I wold be a "Latin"

As for the concept of "ethnicities", I always thought it made more sense to talk about them considering the original types that make the different redheaded, dark-haired, blond, black and what not to have this or that aspect, based on the whole facial features, not just hair and/or skin colour.

Hmmmm. Funny how the state with the most diversity also suffers from the most hate crimes. This also goes for the whole Goddamn U.S.. "The Melting Pot": most racist country in the world. It's almost as if intolerance is the natural order of things. Or maybe it's a caucasian thing? Nah. If I had a nickel for every time I heard the n word coming from my Asian neighbor's mouths, I'd have free Netflix every month.

Every time I throw a tin can in the trash I take comfort in knowing I'm doing my own small part to help render the environment uninhabitable for my own repellent species.

Leaving aside the fact that that is a consequence of a slightly more complex phaenomenon...

Wow, silly facial hair and clothing (and wristwatch :vomit: ) aside, that guy looks a lot like me

It's in occasions like this that I get to understand why I could be considered a cute funny little black kid in my very early childhood, or why even my parents thought why I looked so rather different from the rest of the family  (although I actually look a lot like my bastard paternal uncle

What about refraining from ever acquiring one?

It's called a goatee. Very popular here in the US. And I believe that shirt is a failed attempt at converting an old clown halloween costume into a dress shirt.

I like how you made this all about you so seamlessly. Are you a graduate of Trump University?

Kitty's gotta eat. And haven't we already discussed my views on recycling?

How strange... for some time now I have imagined you to look like Robert Picardo, and now that you have posted this GIF I see that I was not far off the mark in my imagination...

No, I'm rather an inspiration to amateur Trumpists

I disown all my college degree titles

But it all depends on your un-German sense of precision and accuracy

Another thread about belamo

Damn, that hypervapid airhead in Cormac's avatar is pretty...

Except for the short Nosferatu ears.

^ That was a discussion on your views about recycling

It was the category what I could not remember, since I put that on the daily trash exchange one, not the "Hairyone's views on recycling"

Now they've been given "permission" and they've come out their dirt-bag holes to exhibit their freeDumb to hate.

It is sad and disgusting and horrifying. I don't know how to turn this around
The best thing I can do for "my part" is to double-down on my long-held tendency to CELEBRATE diversity, and not be at all secretive about it. Why should I do otherwise, when I've learned (and it's been confirmed over and over) not to prejudge and/or hate somebody just because their background, heritage, and race may not resemble mine? And, because of such, my whole life is better.

Hate is hard for me to wrap my mind around (and, after all, our brains aren't supposed to be wrapped around anything, because neural connections would get broken and the regions of the brain would get all distorted and such, and that's not healthy for the brain, lol). It now seems to be common to throw enormous amounts of hate at transgendered people. That kind of thing pains me so much.

Can't we all just get along?

Oh, and I am a terribly unstable Xenius

By "Xenius" meaning those of us who, according to the old shitty IQ scale are not geniuses, but merely talented... you know, like Mr. Ripley.
