That's understandable, and yes, eye contact is nice. One of my most intimate and memorable moments was face down in prone bone position. Absolutely! I might’ve been lucky to have been sexually active when I was in high school, but being older just means you have more skills. I know gay guys in their 70’s who have fantastic sex lives, either being monogamous or having lots of partners. If you were unable to get it on when you were young, just get started at whatever age you are now. There seems to be this myth that gay guys are only interested in guys under 30, but once you get out and meet older gay guys you find out that sex doesn’t stop when you turn 30. And if you prefer to be by yourself that’s okay too, you can experience a lot of pleasure by yourself. Absolutely. I was a late starter, after straight relationships, butt-play, and a deep-down fascination with what real man-sex would be like. It's great to reach a decision with yourself that you only live once, may as well enjoy, and be comfortable with that. I never looked back.

You were lucky to not only get “trained” by someone who knew what he was doing, but that he was a good person as well. I would agree with him about “hookups”, I prefer to have sex with a guy I know and like as more than just a dick. The other thing I don’t like about hookups is that if the sex is great I will want it to be a regular thing, not just a one time thing.
