Let me make it clear that I am not familiar with guys who claim to be straight who are willing to have sex with a male for pay.

But, before I finally met the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with (a lovely woman) I enjoyed pretty regular sex with a total of five persons (three males and three females) all in long term committed relationships and every parner assumed that every other partner was a "regular" person. WE DID NOT USE THE TERM STRAIGHT AS TODAY.

We all thought of ourselves as regular guys and if we were having sex with other males we thought of them as being regular guys as well. We males were all programmed to expect that some day we would marry and we all did. But my two last male partners simply could not hack the role of husband in a heterosexual partnership. They both divorced and both of them have been in discreet gay relationships ever since. Neither lives with his partner--they have separate apartments in the same buindings!

One of the great things I learned in the early part of my journey into the fullness of my sexuality was that there are loving and lovable males and having sex with such men is alright. The sex is fantastic and confirms the bond of love that already exists. Makes one eager and willing to pursue further sexual communion with such partners. That is a great thing to know.

I am happy as a married man but I do miss m2m sex. I have, I believe, experienced the fullness of human relationship along the way. I loved each of my partners (both male and female) before we had sex and I love them all still even though the sex with all five of them ended long ago.

The first is the one I just pointed out , which is your personal experiences or preferences as a gay man don't represent what straight men will do, a=b does not mean that c=d. The second is that I have had sexual experiences with straight men, therefore obviously some straight men will have sex with other men. Also, everyone knows guys do it in prison, also, there is such a thing as being 'on the downlow', which is common enough that many people know what that phrase means. there's even a wikipedia article that will explain it, if you aren't familiar:

It's just a matter of definition.

For example: Straight guys are guys who say they are straight. They can have as much sex with men as they want but when asked to state their identity, they say, "I'm straight." The same holds for gay guys. That is that they can have as much sex with women but when asked, they say, "I'm gay."

I've known both. And more than one of both types. I knew a dude who seemed to fuck dudes a lot but would get angry at anyone saying that he was gay or even bi. He liked to fuck his girlfriend more and he always had an explanation for fucking dudes. I knew a guy who only had a girlfriend but claimed he was gay.
