That was my impression too, there are several people who are wheelchair bound who stand briefly to reach things or even walk very short distances. But some folks are so quick to make a point that they don't stop to think about how mean the joke is. I usually see this type of humor on far right sights aimed at the poor so it sort of surprised me here.

Listen people: you know what kinds of pics are posted in this thread; you're well aware of the content. The name says it all. If you don't like the humor DON'T bother coming to this thread. It's just that simple.

Ignorance is never funny. And when it's actually being insulting to -- as above -- the disabled or others, it's most certainly not funny.

A great deal of the "humor" in this thread depends on people being ignorant. If someone posted a cartoon making fun of atheists on the basis that atheists are amoral, I would find that just as objectionable, because it would be based on a lie. So what this thread really shows is just how little many posters care about truth and accuracy. If I were to be like many of the posters here, I could use that to make fun of atheists by basing some joke on the "fact" that atheists obviously count ignorance and irrationality to be virtues. Would that be "humor"?

There's little humor there, because it's mostly stuff that has nothing to do with religion -- if anything, it's mocking the stupidity of whoever came up with the nonsense after the words "3 days".

I find it sad because it comes from an intellectual level no higher than fundamentalists who actually believe the Bible says anything at all about the age of the earth.
