Re: The post something funny anti-religious thread

It doesn't cause racism. It exposes it.

So you've completely missed the point. Go to the Middle East, travel around the Mediterranean, and then we'll see if you still agree with Americans claiming the 1922 Turkish border with Greece and Bulgaria is the line between white and non-white.

The "white" being who, there?
Sometimes "white" is the euphemism for "Christians" and, sometimes, those who are "white" in contrast to, say, the Turkish, are not so "white" (actually, at all), when the comparison is with cracking white Christians.
It will be impossible to definitely surpass the XIXth century until we are done with the racial view of the world imposed by people ignoring that, before the "white" started expanding beyond European "subpolar" regions, they brought a very, very, very, very, very limited worldview clashing with centuries, millennia of "melting pots" whose "unity" was based more in religious beliefs or imperial power than in racial purity: the USA as inherited all that at once, hence the added mess.
In Spain there are people pretending that "the Romans never left Spain", implying the British "never left Australia", I guess, so that the "Turkish" would have never left "Greece and Bulgaria" either... mixing or breaking down political nationalities and ethnicities at will, and glossing over the fact that the Arabs have likewise "never left Spain"... that is, they left their gene pool, even after Islam flew away.
