Now that's a very badly rotten one: the very concept of "truth" implies belief. Actually, the very act of thinking will imply belief at some point, if only to make it "temporary belief", which is the difference between the basis of religion (which is the basis of the thinking of common, supposedly "good, normal" people who do not want and need to think over and over... (and therefore despair whenever their world of assumptions and comfort crumbles because of a world crisis, a love deception, aging, a close-to-death experience or death having hit closer to them...): maybe the term they were searching for there was "faith" or "dogma"... "Truth" already separates you from the process of searching, it stops it: that is why it makes no "scientific sense", that is, it does not precisely defend science to get involved in petty quarrels about believing or not in Natural Evolution or the Big Bang: you are then making of science a dogma, a religion, a faith, and from that moment you have surrendered to fundamentalist religious dogmatic people, since their belief, their "faith" is put on a set of perfectly self-contained beliefs, related to an Absolute Perfect... with the added perfaction of plenty of loopholes to allow you to be as incoherent as you please, while still pretending to be perfectly reasonable and unassailable.

Beyond the romanesque aspect, the philosophical, logical basis of God and Santa... oops, Satan, lies in the WILL to renounce to one's self-contained perfection, so from the moment you... "He" ceases to be the Absolute One and breaks that Absolute Perfection with no dissent, evil and decay and death and all that will be "created", that is, will be given way to.
So the "interesting" question about it is... "what was He thinking to decide to do that: feeling bored, which is already a crack in the Absolute Perfection?; feeling "Love" for the creation He was about to spawn, which is the rather silly justification Christianity always give and which is already a sign of weakness, since it would imply a need of or need of giving to someone else, when an Absolute Perfect would feel no Need, let alone the one to feel Love even for Himself?
He may be busy reckoning the punishment for the criminal.
Perfect examples of God being Society, the People, the Masses... or even IN them but as an original part of themselves, not as some godly outer possessing of their insides.
