We should have some sort of top-10: I would vote for those two as being the best ones so far.

The last one in partciular gets right to the point of pure atheism: we can start to philosophy quoting theological authorities based on holy scriptures, but when people do that they almost always wedge in a slipshod assumption that there IS an entity being "behind" it all.
In that motivational they just go to the point: if you want to be rational about something, be clear and specific... but how can you expect anyone to be rational and use good arguments when they almost never do the same while discussing anything else in life? Religion, in particular Christianity, is about faith, and you can not infuse that into anyone, hardly "lighten" a "spark"... unless you are something like the Spanish Inquisition or a Bible Belter.

^^ I think I'm going to take the above graphic, print it, and leave it on the windshields of cars in the parking lots of local churches.

That was said in the Old Testament long before Aristotle. Sadly, except for the ancient rabbis, few have taken it seriously.

The flip side is that people like Pat Robertson gleefully claim that any disaster that hit the US is a bit of divine judgment/warning, but when good things happen do we ever hear them say it means America is making God happy?

Re: Funny anti-religious Internet pics

that's Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church

they put $75 million into renovating the church ..the finally bought the property for $7.5 million...that would feed a LOT of kids

Lakewood Church Central Campus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think it's shameful

Osteen's one of a brand of near-heretics who believe that money is what the Gospel is about, that people are poor because they don't trust God. They have this bizarre teaching that Jesus and the Apostles were actually very wealthy people who could wander around Israel for three years because they were living off the income from businesses other people ran for them.

Not aimed at the posters above me by the way...

Is that anti-religious?

It's anti-something.

I think.

That would be good to drop into Current Events and Politics some time when people are whining about others using the word "cunt". It would confuse the issue nicely.
