Funny anti-religious Internet pics

Re: Funny anti-religious Internet pics

The fool is the one who failed to actually read the text -- there are entirely different words being used. In the top verse, a good modern rendition would be "Useless airhead!", while the others would be, "Not so wise". The former indicates that the person is worthless; the latter suggests the person is failing to use capabilities he has.

So are you calling him a useless airhead or not so wise?

Useless airhead on the hill...

or

Not so wise on the hill....

That Beatles song, it won't have quite the same ring.

Now, this is funny --

Why would this be funny? Some God is offended by words from a child, and he instructs the father of the boy to kill him? How many real life people are killing their children because they are hearing voices in their heads?

Religion enables some to perform callous acts of inhumanity, and it's just a joke to you. Bravo.

See this is what you're doing to the pictures you don't agree with in this thread.

And this:

Was there a need for the cartoonist to use a child in this cartoon? It strikes me that despite criticising the indecisive homosexual preachers, he's linking this to underaged children and drugs and the sexual arousal state of Ted Haggard. It's an anti-gay propaganda cartoon as far as I can see.

It takes a commonly known story and puts a twist on it that's hilarious. And there weren't any "callous acts of inhumanity" involved.

It has nothing to do with what I agree with or not. I do the same thing in threads about astronomy or geology or such -- point out stupidity and ignorance.

What??? There's no relation at all to homosexuality.

It's taking what Haggard actually did with all the funds that even children collected for him and putting it in a kid's mouth.
